Precautions
1. Precautions for use
a. Correctly adjust the clutch to disengage completely and engage completely.
b. Load according to the vehicle’s load capacity, avoid overloading.
c. Initial care and maintenance should be performed in accordance with the vehicle's instructions.
d. Avoid not warm up after start up the vehicle, avoid driving the vehicle before the water temperature reaches
the driving temperature, and the pressure reaches the standard pressure.
e. Avoid high-speed with low gear or shift to low gear at high speed, do not shift improperly.
f. Avoid shift impact, avoid pushing or pulling hardly, or beating the shifter lever when shifting.
g. The reverse gear should be put into when the vehicle is stopped.
h. Avoid neutral coasting downhill.
2. Precautions for disassembly
a. Before removing the transmission assembly from the vehicle, always park the vehicle in a flat and secure
place with the transmission in the neutral position of the low gear, turn off the engine and turn off the main
power switch, wedging the front and rear wheels.
b. Before disassemble the transmission assembly, thoroughly clean the transmission housing.
c. Disassembly of the transmission must be carried out in a clean place, to avoid the dust or other debris from
entering the transmission, otherwise it will aggravate the wear and damage the bearings.
d. The bearings should be removed with the use of special tools, which is easy to remove, without damaging
the bearings. The bearings removed need to be carefully cleaned.
e. When disassembling each sub-assembly, put all the parts on the clean workbench in the order of removal, so
as to avoid the loss of parts and facilitate the assembly.
f. When removing the circlip, use the circlip plier , which is easy to remove without damaging the circlip.
g. When using tools to remove, be sure to pay attention to the size of the force applied to the shaft or shell
parts, etc., which can not damage the parts. Some parts are forbidden to be disassembled, and it is absolutely
forbidden to apply external force to the moving driven menber.During removal, be sure to use a softer hammer,
rod and hammer.
3. Precautions for assembly
a. Before assembly the parts must be thoroughly cleaned and dust and debris can not be brought into the
transmission case.
b. The residue of paper pad and sealant on each bonding surface must be cleaned.
c. When assembling parts, make sure that the gears, thrust washers and bearings are in the correct orientation.
d. All thrust washers, needle bearings and synchronizer cones must be cleanly lubricated during assembly to
avoid damage to the parts due to dry friction.
e. When assembling the second shaft assembly check the axial clearance of each gear for too small or too
large clearance.
f. According to the repair procedure, all the self-locking nut, oil seal and O-ring must be replaced.
g. When reassembling the synchronizer ring and synchronizer cone, pay attention to their position and
orientation to ensure that the installation position and orientation do not change.
h. When reinstalling, ensure that the lubricant filling hole not blocked no rust, bumps and cracks and other
defects on each gear surface Clean the synchronizer cone ring and apply a clean lubricant to the working
surfaces of the synchronizer cone ring, oil seal, and bearing.
i. Tighten all bolts, plugs, nuts, gearswitches, etc., with specified torque.
j. When installing the intermediate shaft gear, first apply a layer of lubricant evenly around the intermediate shaft.
k. When assembling oil seals and bearings, do not knock on the bearings directly with a hammer and it
must be installed using special tools.
l. Check the seal lip for damage, if any, replace with new.
m. When parts need to be replaced, use the same type of accessories for the original transmission.
