Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace or charge the battery.

2. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the driver airbag connector is loosen
and eroded.

3. Check the clock spring

(a). Confirm to turn ignition switch off, and disconnect battery terminal negative for more
than 90s.
(b). Disconnect clock spring connector C18 and driver airbag connector.

(c). Check the resistance value between clock
spring connector C18 and driver airbag
connector.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C18(1) - Driver SRS(1) ≤ 2 Ω
C18(2) - Driver SRS(2) ≤ 2 Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Replace the clock spring.
