2. DTC test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and clear
the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
YES> To step 3.
NO> Accidental fault, check whether the yaw rate sensor connector plug is loose and corroded.

3. Check fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Check SRS system fuse F26(10A) in the
body fuse box.

Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 4.
NO> Replace fuse.
Note :
The new fuse to replace must have and equivalent rated amperage. The fuse value of this
vehicle type is 10A.

4. Detect steering angle sensor power supply and ground circuit

(a). Make sure to turn off the ignition switch.
(b). Disconnect the A08 ESP ECU connector and the C94 steering angle sensor connector .
