COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT
1 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
replacement")
2 . Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to “Chapter 51. Steering column - steering
wheel assy, overhaul”)
3 . Remove the clock spring assembly. (Refer to “Chapter 51. Steering column -

combination switch assy, replacement”)

4 . Remove the combination switch.
(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Hold the retaining clip of the switch assembly
with a specific tool and remove the
combination switch assembly.

5 . Install combination switch assy.
(a) Hold the retaining clip of the switch assembly
with a specific tool and install the combination
switch assembly.
