Diagnostic steps
1 . Check passengers’ SRS (SRS control module-passengers’ SRS)
(a) Turn off the ignition switch, and disconnect the negative pole of the battery for more
than 90 seconds.
(b) Disconnect Passengers’ air bag assembly connector C030.

(c) Disconnect SRS control module connector
C016.
(d) Connect the negative pole of the battery and
turn on ignition switch to “ON”.
(e) Check passengers’ air bag assembly
connector C030.
Standard voltage
Multimeter connection Standard value
C030(1) — ground
0V
C030(2) — ground
Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> Replace SRS Control Module
No> Replace passengers’ air bag assembly.
