DIAGNOSIS-POWER DOOR LOCK 62-145

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step3.
No >Maintain the short circuit to ground both of the locking control circuit and the unlocking
control circuit of the central lock.

3. Check the control circuit of the driver door lock 62

(a). Disconnect the connector C58 of the body
controller.

(b). Measure the resistance between the
grounding and the No.E30 pin of the
connector C58 on the body controller with
the multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect by Standard
Conditions
multimeter value
The lock
state C58 (E30) -
feedback Grounding ≤ 2 Ω
switch is OFF

The lock
state C58 (E30) -
feedback Grounding Infinite
switch is ON.

Is the result normal?
Yes>Find the causes from other symptoms.
No >Maintain the open circuit to ground of the control circuit on the driver door lock.
