DIAGNOSIS-REAR WINDOW DEFROSTING SYSTEM 62-193

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".

(b). Check the fuse in the indoor fuse box:
F39(25A)、 F10(5A).
Disconnect Normal

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace the fuse.

2. Check the rear window defroster relay

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Pull out the rear window defroster relay R01.

(c). Check whether the rear window defroster
relay R01 performs well with the multimeter
on the resistance range.

Connect by Specified
Conditions
multimeter value
normal 85-86 Exist

Apply the power
supply voltage
between the No. 30-87 ＜ 2 Ω
86 and No.85 pin

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >Replace the rear window defroster relay.
