(d). Turning the combination switch to the
"dipped headlight" gear, measure the
voltage between the No.2 terminal of
connector A28 and A03 on the left and right
front combination lamp and the grounding
with the multimeter. 62
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect by Standard value
multimeter
A28(2) - Grounding Battery volt

A03(2) - Grounding Battery volt

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 5.
No >Maintain the disconnection of harness between the connector A28 of the left front
combination lamp and the left dipped fuse, and between the connector A03 of the right
front combination and the right dipped fuse.

5. Check harness short circuit to the grounding

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the left front combination lamp connector A28.
(c). Disconnect the right front combination lamp connector A03.

(d). Measure the resistance between the No.2
terminal of the left front combination
lamp connector A28 and also the No.2
terminal of the right front combination lamp
connector A03 and the grounding with a
multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A28(2) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ
A03(2) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 6.
No >Maintain the disconnection of harness between the connector A28 of the left front
combination lamp and the left dipped fuse, and between the connector A03 of the right
front combination and the right dipped fuse.
