PRECAUTIONS

1. Ignition switch statement

Ignition switch ( position ) Ignition switch statement
LOCK Shut down ignition system.

Stop gear is to connect electric equipment such as radio and tape player,
ACC
cigarette lighter, etc with power supply.
Travelling gear is to connect electric equipment such as instrument s,
ON
preheat, etc. with power supply.

Starting gear is to start engine and then it will back to "ON" gear of
START
travelling gear.

2. Power dump
(a). Before disassembly and installation of any electrical equipment, or when it is easy to
contact with the exposed electrical pin, be sure to disconnect battery negative cable
to prevent people and vehicle damages.
△ PROMPT:
Before disconnecting battery negative cable, make sure you car keys are not left inside the
car in case the door is locked.
(b). The Ignition switch must be switched down unless it is otherwise specified.
3. Precautions on use of batter when examining
(a). In examination, don’t approach positive and negative tester probe too much,
otherwise short circuit will occur.
