3. Check the power circuit of the canister control valve

(a). Disconnect the canister valve connector E04.
(b). Ignition switch: ON。

(c). Measure the voltage values to earth of the
canister control valve connector E04 pin1 .
Standard voltage:

Connect the pin by Standard value
pmultimeter
E04(1)-Grounding battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4。
No >Fix or change the harness.。

4. Check the control circuit of canister control valve

(a). Ignition switch: LOCK。
(b). Disconnect ECU connector E01.
(c). Disconnect the canister control valve connector E04.

(d). Measure the resistance between the
canister control valve connector E04 pin2
and the ECUconnector E01pin35 .
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value
pmultimeter

E04(2)-E01(35) Approx 0Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 5。
No >Repair or replace the faulty wiring harness.

5. Replace ECU

(a). Replace the engine ECU.
(b). Using the diagnostic tool performs theDTCconfirmation procedure.
(c). Perform the step of reading the sensor data stream.
(d). Verify no DTC and the normal of data.
