ENGINE MECHANICAL - CYLINDER HEAD,VALVE 15-63

VALVE OVERHAUL

1 . Remove the cylinder head. (Refer to "Chapter 15 Engine mechanical system -
Cylinder Head, Valve, Cylinder Head Overhaul")
CAUTION

• Mark the removed valve, valve spring and other parts with the cylinder number
and installation position. Keep them well to ease installation.

2 . Use a appropriate tool to remove the valve
lock

3 . Remove the upper valve spring retainer,
the valve spring.

4 . Remove the valve oil seal and then the
valve.

CAUTION

• The valve oil seal cannot be reused.
