EXHAUST PIPE

REPLACEMENT
CAUTION

• Apply some engine oil on contact surface of rubber lifting lug to facilitate removal
and installation.
• Replace a new gasket when installing the exhaust pipe.The old one should not
be used as it may lead to poor sealing of exhaust.
• The exhaust pipe gasket is usually stuck on the exhaust pipe sealant surface.
16 Before installing a new gasket, scrape the surface clean to avoid leakage after
installation.

1 . Switch off the ignition.
2 . Wait until the exhaust system fully cools down.
3 . Raise the vehicle.

4 . Remove the connecting nuts of the rear
exhaust pipe assembly and the muffler
assembly, remove the gasket.

5 . Apply some engine oil on rubber lifting lug
connections. Remove the rubber lifting lug
of the rear exhaust pipe assembly. Remove
the rear exhaust pipe assembly.
