FRONT SUSPENSION - LOWER SWING ARM 31-17

LOWER SWING ARM

REPLACEMENT
1 . Remove the front wheels. (Refer to "Chapter 33.Wheel & tire - front wheel & tire,
replacement")
2 . Remove the front shock absorber. (Refer to "Chapter 31. Front suspension -
front shock absorber, replacement")

2 . Remove the lower swing arm.
(a) Remove the split pin and unscrew the
retaining nuts of the lower swing arm ball joint.

(b) Unscrew the retaining bolts of the lower swing 31
arm ball joint bracket.

(c) Remove the lower swing arm ball joint
bracket.
