HEATER AND AIR CONDITIONING - CONDENSER 61-45
OVERHAUL
CAUTION
• The condenser is a heat exchanger with many refined and fragile parts in terms
61
of structure and material. Be careful when disassembling it and prevent it from
falling, impact or scratch.
• Use a new O-ring and apply some coolant before installation.
• Since leakage is common in the A/C system, keep the workspace well ventilated.
• Seal the disconnected pipes with plugs, to prevent impurities from entering the
system.
1 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20. Start & charge - battery,
replacement")
2 . Collect the refrigerant. (Refer to "Chapter 61. heating & A/C - refrigerant,
replacement")
3 . Remove the front grill. (Refer to "Chapter 88. Interior & exterior trims - front grill,
replacement")
4 . Remove the Condenser
(a) Disconnect the horn connector.

(b) Disconnect the engine hood lock connector.
(c) Disconnect the outdoor temperature sensor
connector.
