(e) Check start and cut-off relay R04.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter
Conditions connection Specified
value

1 - 2 Breakover
situation
Apply power
supply voltage
to position 3 - 4 Cut-off
between stitch
1 and 2,

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> go to step 5
No>Replace relay

5 . Check harness and connector (rear defrost relay—Rear window defroster D004、
D012)
(a) Disconnect battery negative cable.
(b) Pull out rear windscreen defrost relay R01 inside fuse box of body.

(c) Disconnect connector D004、D012 of rear
windscreen defroster.
