(b) Disconnect the connector of the seat belt
alarm switch D013 on the side of driver.
(c) Ignition Switch: ON.

Check whether the seat belt indicating lamp on the side of passenger is off

Yes> Replace the seat belt alarm switch on the side of passenger.
No> go to step 2

6 . Check whether the signal circuit of seat belt indicating lamp on the side of driver
is of short circuit
(a) Ignition Switch: OFF.

(b) Disconnect the connector C013 of
combination instrument.

(c) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 1 of the connector of the seat
belt alarm switch D013 on the side of
passenger and ground.
Standard resistance (check whether there
is short circuit)

Multimeter connection Standard value

D013 (1) - Grounding ≥ 1 MΩ
