Tyus Jones must improve as a shooter. He shot 31.7% from 3 point range last year on 1.9 attempts per game. After studying his shots from last season, I feel confident he can become a better shooter quickly. His form is not bad; he just lacks discipline.
Watch his landing on these shots here. As soon as he hits the ground, he is off balance and starts backing up. Good shooters stick their landing and stay with their shots.
Now watch these clips. He is more on balance, sticks his landing, and stays with his shot. This is what it needs to look like.
