Video
The rise of video in our game in the last two decades has tremendously helped improve the game of basketball and its players. It is a great way to teach without the pounding on the legs, especially during an 82 games NBA season. Almost all players enjoy watching themselves. To keep the players wanting more, it is important to not only teach through negative clips but also positive clips. It is important they see themselves do it right.
Most players also like watching other players they can learn from. College players like to watch NBA clips because this is where they want to get to. NBA players usually like to watch all stars and the all-time greats. It is a great way to reinforce something a coach is trying to teach a player.
