What does he do well right now?
Transition
Elite level athlete who excels in transition. Runs the wings hard and put a lot of pressure on the defense. Here are a few examples.
Zhaire is a high level offensive rebounder at the guard spot. He is relentless on the glass and almost impossible to block out. In college, he was allowed to go at all times. In the NBA, where transition defense is at a premium, he will have to be smart about when to crash and when to get back. Here are some examples of him getting to the glass.
Zhaire’s best attribute outside of his athleticism is his willingness to play defense. He is a versatile defender who can guard positions 1 through 4 on most nights. The clips below show his versatility guarding different positions, as well as him using his athleticism to block shots from the guard spot.
