Important Visitor Information
At The Vintage Hospital, we know that having visitors, family and friends around you can play an important role in your recovery. We consider your family, partner, or chosen support person to be a part of your healthcare “TEAM” and ask that they follow these simple rules for your comfort and safety.
• Do not visit if you have a cold, sore throat, fever or other virus/infection.
• WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE ENTERING AND LEAVING THE PATIENT’S ROOM.
• Ask before bringing  owers, perfumes, food/drink, balloons or other items that may trigger allergies or disrupt other patients.
• Respect all “no visitor,” “isolation,” or any sign posted.
• Observe the need for quiet and respect the healing of other patients.
• Please silence cell phones.
• DO NOT SHARE PATIENT ITEMS, SUCH AS DISHES, TOWELS AND CREAMS.
Please Observe That The Vintage Hospital Is A Smoke-Free Campus!
This includes adjacent buildings, grounds, sidewalks and parking lots/towers. Smoke-free includes electronic, vapor and other nicotine delivery systems.

Visiting Hours
CHI St. Luke’s Health–The Vintage Hospital has open visiting hours, although they may vary for the ICU.
When visiting between
8 pm and 5:30 am, visitors must check-in with security personnel stationed at the emergency entrance (the north side entrance of the hospital) for a visitor’s badge.
Intensive
Care Unit (ICU)
From 8 pm to 5:30 am, our unit phone must be used to gain admittance to the ICU.
We strive to make you a part of the healing process while providing our patients with the time needed to rest. To provide a balance between family contact and rest time, please note the following:
• Only two visitors are allowed in the ICU.
• No food or drinks.
• No  owers or latex balloons
are permitted.
• Do not use cell phones in the
rooms or halls, as they can e ect equipment.
• Please keep a quiet environment— do not wake patients: rest is an important part of healing.
• Some critical patients may require decreased visiting hours to aid in the healing process.
Children Visitors
Young visitors under 10 years of age must be supervised at all times. Please refrain from bringing sick children into the hospital for visitation. Visitors, aged 12 and older, may visit the ICU.
Overnight Guests
Patients should notify a nurse to request a guest to stay overnight. A daybed
is provided in all Medical/Surgical patient rooms. Overnight ICU guests are requested to check with the patient’s nurse prior to making
these arrangements.
