Make a Gift and Reduce Your Taxes – The IRA Way
Are you age 70 1⁄2 or more? Do you have an IRA?
If you answered YES, you may have an opportunity – until December 31, 2019 – to reduce your 2019 taxes and make a meaningful gift to Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
If you have not met your IRA required minimum distribution for 2019, the IRA Charitable Rollover Provision allows you to make a charitable gift – up to $100,000 – tax free, because it satisfies your minimum required distribution.
Contact your IRA administrator to make a gift from your IRA. The distribution should be payable to Indian River Memorial Hospital (Tax ID# 592496294), and the check should be mailed to 1000 37th Place, Suite 101, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Please notify the Foundation’s Planned Giving Department at 772.226.4951 if you are considering a gift through your IRA. We can coordinate with your IRA administrator, ensure that you meet the December 31 deadline and – most importantly – receive the necessary receipt and our sincere thanks!
