POVERTY
Poverty is a state or condition in which a person or community lacks
the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of living .
Poverty means that the income level from employment is so low that the
basic human needs can’t be met.
EDUCATION
Lack of funds, expensive higher education ,neglect of Indian languages,
problem of brain drain, mass illiteracy , wastage of resources, general
education oriented this are related to poverty and terrorism because ,
if people don’t have money the children cannot study. If children cannot
study well they are influenced by gangster which leads to terrorist
attacks also. In many parts of villages, girls are not allowed to study.
The main reason is of gender discrimination between boys and girls.
So how can we overcome these issues?
The solving of a social problem depends upon finding out the causes of
troublesome social conditions which create the problem. Though every
social problem is caused by multiple factors, but it is always possible to
find out the chief factor, the cooperative factors and the minor
aggravates in the origin and development of the problem. Every problem
is likely to be unique and is likely to have individualistic traits which may
differentiate it from other problems. Many a time, the nature of the
social problem is such that the control becomes extremely difficult, if
not impossible. This happens when a social problem is occasioned by
natural factors like droughts or floods or when the conflict of social
interests blocks the application of curative programmes, or a revo-
lution is needed to change the existing political or economic systems.
But after understanding and judging social problems, the society has to
be effective and has to take some action whether it is by attempting to
alter the established social institutions or by trying to alleviate them by
adopting measures without trying to change the existing institutions.

BULLYING – ITS CAUSES AND EFFECTS.
Bullying is a serious issue in most parts of the world today. In a lot of
schools, colleges and other learning universities bullying is very common.
Bullying does not only involve physically beating up the victim but also,
verbally abusing and hurting then emotionally.
Verbally bullying someone can be just as harmful to the victim as
physically beating them. It is said that there is a very thin line between
teasing someone and bullying them. I truly agree with that. Sometimes,
somehow, we think we are just purely teasing someone for fun but, to that
person it could be bullying. Verbal bullying could be done intentionally or
even unintentionally. The victim in many cases does not tell anyone about
what is going on and goes on enduring the bullying silently.
In many cases, it is found that the victim does not report himself being
bullied. There could be many reasons for this. In some cases, it is not just
one person who bullies but an entire group or class is involved. In such
cases the victim does not wish to be labelled as “weak” or a “crybaby”
which will just lead to more bullying. So, the victim acts like he or she is
okay with what everyone is doing to him or her. Another situation could be
that the victim has no idea about what to do. The victim could be in a
complete state of confusion and hence, just decides to do nothing about the
bullying and does not report it at all. In some cases, the bullying does stop
as a result of the person who is bullying getting bored and eventually stops
bullying the victim completely. But, unfortunately, this is not the case
always. Sometimes, keeping quiet just provokes the bully into being more
abusive and the level of his bullying could increase.
But the main question is, ‘‘what leads to people becoming bullies?” I
would say that there are many reasons. The most common reason being
that the bully has been bullied in his early years of school. When someone
is bullied, it haunts them for the rest of their life. The victim has a certain
amount of fear of being bullied again. So, to prevent themselves from being
bullied, the previous victims try to show that they are powerful and not an
easy target for bullying. So, following this fear they intentionally or
unintentionally turn into bullies themselves.
