Florida A&M Linebacker Isaiah Land, Lands NIL Deal With Black-Owned Fintech, Ready Life
The fintech startup reinforces its commitment to empowering college students to begin their journey to homeownership – even while earning their degree.
ATLANTA, GA – Ready Life, the Black-founded fintech pioneering a new path to homeownership with- out credit scores, is making its mark in the field of sports with its first Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deal with All-American linebacker Isaiah Land, a senior at top rank- ing HBCU, Florida A&M University.
“Ready Life is excited to work with Isaiah Land to help get the word out about Ready Life to his peers and other college students who have an opportunity to develop financial habits that prepare them

for owning a home sooner rather than later, providing an opportunity
to create generational wealth,” states Ready Life founder and CEO, Ashley Bell.
Land is the top defender in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and is considered a likely NFL Draft prospect. Awarded De- fensive Player of the Year by both the FCS and the Southwestern Ath- letic Conference, Land ended the 2021 regular season with a total of 19 sacks.
“I’m grateful to have the support of a company like Ready Life. Being a student athlete is really a full-time job but we still have rent to pay, groceries to purchase, meals on the road and no time for another job. This NIL deal opens doors for guys like me to help support themselves and get themselves to the league,”
shares Land. “Ready Life provides a product that my family could have utilized and benefited from when I was growing up.”
Land, who turned 23 in Febru- ary 2022, hopes to purchase his first major asset – a home – by the time he’s twenty-four and he is excited to know that Ready Life will help him be ready to purchase his first home when the time comes.
“I’m really excited to spread the news about Ready Life. Where I’m from, we rent apartments, but we could easily own our own homes with a product like this. Ready Life is helping people get into their first home –even in their twenties, and I want to help get that message out there – that if you can pay rent, you can own a home,” says Land.
