Recently chosen as the winner at the Tampa Bay Theater Festival, “Six Triple Eight” focuses on the fictional first African American female battalion as it arrives in Europe and their seemingly impossible assign- ment. The play was written and directed by Mary McCallum. Cast members shown in this photograph are from left to right: Alicia Haymer, Mary McCallum, Shawn Whitsell, Candace Omnira LaFayette, Meleisha Edwards, and Felichia Chivaughn.
