This is the location of a home invasion that left one person dead at 2409 W. State Street.
Victim Of Home Invasion Dies From Injuries
Hit And Run Driver Kills Man Walking To Work
      Detectives are currently investigating a home invasion where a person died. The crime took place Saturday af- ternoon.
Information pertaining to the crime has been sketchy and police have not released any additional information.
According to Tampa Po- lice, officers responded to 2409 W. State Street, in ref- erence to an injury. When of- ficers arrived, they discovered that unidentified suspects had entered the home,
robbed the occupants, and left one person injured. They then fled the scene.
The injured person was transported to a local hospi- tal, where he died as a result of his injuries.

EMANUEL SANDAVOL ... Still at large
A 26-year-old Plant City man is facing several charges after hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene. The inci- dent took place Friday after- noon.
According to police, a po- lice officer was attempting to locate Emmanuel San- doval, 30, of Plant City on active warrants. The officer observed Sandoval walking in the Plantation at Walden Lake Apartment complex, 1400 Plantation Blvd.
When the officer at- tempted to make contact with him, Sandoval got into a blue Ford Fusion, driven by 26-year-old Daniel Castro. Castro fled the scene and left the complex while the of- ficer was on foot. The officer used stop sticks, but was un- successful in stopping the car.
Other police units in the area were notified and at- tempted to locate the vehicle, but the officers were never close enough to obtain the li- cense plate number. The next time the officers observed the vehicle was in the area of S. Alexander Street and Sam-

Officers attempted to
make a traffic stop, but the driver drove recklessly and the attempt was abandoned.
The vehicle continued westbound on Sammonds Road at a high rate of speed. It failed to stop at the inter- section of Woodrow Wilson Street. It entered into a sharp right-handed turn, and the driver lost control of the ve- hicle.
The driver also failed to observe 43-year-old Ar- mando Lopez, of Plant City, who was walking along the shoulder of the road. He struck Lopez and Lopez died at the scene. The vehicle traveled an additional 1,400 feet, before it left the road- way after and crashed.
SIERRA VICKERY ... Arrested
After crashing the vehicle, Castro, Sandoval, and Ms. Sierra Vickery, 25, jumped out of the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene.
Police captured Daniel Castro and he has been charged with vehicular homi- cide, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, having no valid driver’s license, aggra- vated fleeing to elude and ag- gravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
Ms. Vickery was also ar- rested on unrelated charges. Both were transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.
Sandoval was successful in his escape. He is wanted on several felony charges, and police are continuing to search for him.
      Man Dies After Crashing Into Police Car

 A 25-year-old man died Saturday after being involved in two accidents. In the first accident, he crashed into the back of a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office vehi- cle.
According to police, Jesse Lamar Wood, crashed into the vehicle driven by Sgt. James Jackson while trav- eling on State Road 60, at the intersection of Limona Road, around 2 a.m. After the acci- dent, Wood fled the scene in a 2010 Hyundai Elantra.
Wood continued without stopping and the police car
was incapacitated by the acci- dent. Wood was not pur- sued.
However, he continued, traveling north on Limona Street, at approximately 50 miles per hour. Wood lost control of his vehicle as he crossed the railroad track, just north of Victoria Street.
The car rolled over on its side, and Wood, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.
Police said alcohol is being considered a factor in the ac- cident. The investigation is continuing.
