Matt Barnes Wins $13K Child Support Reduction In Battle Against Ex-Wife
MATT BARNES AND GLORIA GOVAN
Matt Barnes is not only winning big at home with the birth of his newborn son, but he's also winning in court.
Last month, a source re- ported Barnes went to court to have his payments reduced from $20,000 a month to less than $3,000 per month. The former Golden State Warrior wound up submitting a final re- quest to reduce his payments to his ex-wife, ‘Basketball Wives’ star, Gloria Govan by $13,000.
After retiring from the NBA, Barnes said he could no longer afford to hand over $20,000 to Govan every month, especially since he was granted custody of his twin boys.
In the end, Barnes pro- posed his payment be no more than $7,500, which works out to $3,750 per child, per month.
The judge signed off on the exact amount Barnes re- quested.
Although this may be a big win for Barnes, the good news may only be temporary as this reduction will only last until the two settle their longstanding legal issues.
At first glance that seems to be bad news for Govan, and it is, but it’s not completely bad for her. That’s because the re- duction is only temporary while the two continue hashing out their many issues.
In November, Barnes was just granted a restraining order against Govan for 18 months.
LeBron James Tells Dwyane
The NFL announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host international games in 2019.
Dates and opponents will
be announced at a later date. The NFL will play four games in London and one in
Mexico City next season.
The Jaguars are con- tracted to play one game in London each season through
2020.
Wade 'It Was Here Or The
Garden' After Last Matchup
Following what was likely the final meeting of their NBA careers Monday, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade discussed the special moment on the court at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
As seen in the following video, James told D-Wade, "It was either here or the Gar- den," in reference to which venues were meaningful enough to play host to their final game against each other.
James and the Los Ange- les Lakers prevailed 108-105 over Wade and the Miami Heat to improve to 17-10. Le- Bron finished with 28 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds, while Wade registered 15 points, 10 assists and five re- bounds in 32 minutes off the bench.
James and Wade are not only close friends, but they are also linked from a basketball perspective, as they led the Heat to championships in 2012 and 2013.
Prior to the start of the 2018-19 season, Wade said he
DWYANE WADE AND LEBRON JAMES
planned to retire at the close of the campaign.
That means there are only three ways the two could meet again, and none are realistic: an NBA Finals meeting, an All- Star Game selection for Wade, or if another team on the Lakers' upcoming schedule trades for Wade.
Neither James nor Wade have ever played for the New York Knicks, but they have been vocal about their love for MSG and its atmosphere. Their discussion after Mon- day's game was a tip of the hat to The World's Most Famous Arena.
     Ray Lewis Settles
 $1.7M Legal Battle
Against Former Lawyer
Former NFL star Ray Lewis has reached a settle- ment in the $1.7M dollar law- suit he filed against his longtime friend & former lawyer, Marc Rosen.
Lewis alleges Rosen screwed him out of millions by having him invest in risky ventures.
Lewis explained in his lawsuit that he worked with Rosen for several years on various matters. In 2008, his lawyer convinced him that it

would be a lucrative business move to lend his name and likeness to an entertainment complex he was working on called MVP Entertainment. Rosen explained that none of Ray’s own money would be used to invest, but in 2010, Lewis unknowingly signed a series of loan documents, one for 1.5M and another for 2.5M.
The ex-NFL star said he learned about the loans in 2011, when Rosen ap- proached him for an addi- tional 200k to fund his business venture. Lewis agreed to obtain another bank loan for 200k for a grand total of 1.7M that his lawyer prom- ised to pay him back.
