Ms. Theresa Smith, of Miami, is used to speaking with her daughter several times a week. She last spoke with her on April 24, 2017.
Alton Smith, of Tampa, her father, did not speak with her as often as her mother, but she’d stop by his resi- dence to pick up her mail. He recalls it being about a month ago that she stopped by.
The parents are con- cerned because they have not heard from or seen Yekke- kiccia Smith, 35, in more than a month. Her 18-year- old daughter has not heard from her either. All the fam- ily is concerned.
A spokesperson at the Tampa Police Dept. says a missing person’s report was
YEKKEKICCIA SMITH ...Also known as “KeKi” Birthdate: March 20, 1982
filed on Ms. Smith on May 1. The report remains an open missing person’s re- port. The family has been in contact with Det. Partner of the Tampa Police Dept.
The family was told that if Ms. Smith has checked into
a facility and does not wish to be bothered, officials will not be required to divulge that information. The family, however, says they want to know if she is OK.
Since Mr. Smith last saw his daughter, he says he learned that she had lost her job as a telemarketer, her car was repossessed and her li- cense had been suspended. Someone did report to him that they saw her on a bus, he said.
Ms. Smith is described as about 5’6”, 170 pounds, light complexioned. She has “Darryl” tattooed above her breast and “Mahmoud” tattooed on her lower back.
Anyone who has informa- tion, or has seen Ms. Smith can call the Tampa Police Dept. non-emergency num- ber, (813) 231-6130.
