DEATH NOTICE
MR. PETERKIN ALFRED BERRY, JR.
A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Peterkin Alfred Berry, Jr., Saturday, July 1st, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace, 10002 N. 56th Street, with Pastor Zak Moussa, officiating.
Mr. Berry departed his earthly body on June 14, 2017. He was born to the union of Pe- terkin Alfred and Edwina Smith de Berry, Sr., on August 8, 1938, in Bluefields, Nicaragua. As a youth, he played junior league baseball and attended public schools.
Mr. Berry began working at the age of 14 and continued throughout his entire life. His field of expertise was heavy equipment and he gained em- ployment in that field after mov- ing to Managua, Nicaragua, where he joined his brother, Henry Berry, and obtained em- ployment working with heavy equipment.
During his lifetime, Mr. Berry also worked in Puerto Cabezas, and the Cayman Is- lands before moving to Tampa in 2001. He was employed in the Maintenance Department at Tampa Park Apartments at the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peterkin and Ed- wina Berry, Sr., and his brother, Henry Berry.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 46 years, Jeannette M. Edwards Berry, his children, Gloria Berry Windett, Peterkin A. Berry, III, (Brianne), Sylvia J. Berry-An- drews, (Cyril), Dr. Paul A. Berry (Dr. Lori), 8 grandchildren and 1 step grandson, Annisa Windett, Cyril B. MR. CLARENCE W. JAMES (CJ) 12/31/1958 To 6/26/2017
Mr. Clarence W. James (CJ) graduated from Robin- son High School, Class of 1977. CJ furthered his edu- cation and graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science. CJ was well known all over for his ath- letic abilities on the basket- ball courts. CJ will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral services will be held in New Orleans, LA.
MRS. AUDREY H. WRIGHT
Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey H. Wright will be held at 11 a. m., on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Mt. Olive AME Church in Bealsville, Florida.
Audrey went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was born in Bealsville, Florida on January 27, 1923, as the second child to the late Leonard and Catherine Hollo- man.
She graduated from Bar- tow Academy High School, and later attended Apex
Beauty School in Atlanta, Georgia.
She married Arthur S. Wright on June 8, 1942, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2015. As a li- censed cosmetologist, she worked until her late 80’s, and was passionate about her customers and healthy hair care.
Her spiritual journey began at a very early age as a result of her mother. Throughout her Christian life, she was devoted to serv- ing and supporting the Bealsville Church of God. She routinely attended a prayer line for twenty-one years that was founded by Rev. Brin- son. She loved the Lord and as her children were growing up, she ensured that they attended church and Bible study on a weekly basis.
Audrey leaves many cher- ishing memories of her full life to her eight children, grandchildren, great-grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and end- less loving and devoted friends.
