Dez Bryant Looking Forward To Getting Saints Super Bowl Ring
DEZ BRYANT
Dez Bryant did not play in an NFL game this season, so it’s easy to forget that he ac- tually is part of a team. And he is holding strong allegiances to them.
Bryant was tweeting on Sunday about the New Or- leans Saints’ playoff game against the Philadelphia Ea- gles. He kept talking about the Super Bowl ring he would get when they win it all.
After being released by the Dallas Cowboys last offseason, Dez went several months un- signed despite having offers. He finally chose to sign with the Saints in November, but then he tore his Achilles’ ten- don two days after signing.
Even though he was briefly part of the team, Bryant re- ceived love from their players and clearly still feels strong about them. He’s hoping they’ll bring him his first Super Bowl ring.

Up Big Against Patriots
Playoff Game Sets
Patrick Mahomes says the mindset shown for Dar- rel Williams' late touch- down in the Chiefs' divisional round win over the Colts is one they will need if they are to become Super Bowl cham- pions.
The Chiefs ran out 31-13 victors to secure home advan- tage in next week's AFC championship game, with Williams' late score ending any hope of a comeback for the Colts.
Mahomes himself helped shove his teammate into the endzone to exemplify the desire for victory and the second-year quarterback be- lieves such a mentality is a must this deep into the play- offs.
"It was a great win, I think the defense stepped up in a big way and played great all game long," he said.
"The offense started fast, we had a dry spell but fin- ished it off in the end.
"It was a great team win, we have the opportunity to

Alshon Jeffery Played
Former Arizona Cardinals coach Steve Wilks will re- portedly join the Cleveland Browns as their new defensive coordinator.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Wilks and the Browns are near a deal and it will likely be sealed on Monday.
Wilks is a good, experi- enced get for rookie coach Freddie Kitchens. He has a long career of coaching de- fenses in the NFL, and served as defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers before his one-year stint as the coach

of the Cardinals.
Wilks was an early candi-
date for the position alongside another former head coach, but he has won the job in the end.
Through Broken Ribs
In Loss To Saints
Teammates had Alshon Jeffery’s back despite his mistake costing the Philadel- phia Eagles in their 20-14 loss to the New Orleans Saints in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs on Sunday.
Jeffery let a pass go through his hands, leading to an interception for the Saints in the final two minutes of the game, helping them clinch the victory. After his mistake, Jeffery was consoled by Nick Foles and Doug Ped- erson on the sideline. Team- mate Lane Johnson wanted to further defend Jeffery and told the media that the wide receiver was playing through broken ribs.

"My favorite thing was fin- ishing the game at the end, we've been in those situations this year and I feel like we haven't executed to our stan- dard.
"For us to go out there and finish that game with those big runs — especially that last one — shows the attitude and effort needed to win football games."
Now, Mahomes must come up big against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots Sunday in Kansas City.
The NFC playoff game be- tween the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night was a popular viewing event, so much so that it set records.
More than 34 million viewers tuned in to watch the game, according to Nielsen Media Research and Adobe Analytics. That was the most ever viewers for a Saturday night primetime event on
FOX.
FOX also says the game

tioned he was playing hurt. He did not shy from the media after the loss. He took all the responsibility for his error. He responded like a winner even after losing.
Jeffery does not need to feel badly; without him, the Eagles wouldn’t have won it all last season.
After Game Ends
The beef between Amari Cooper and Marcus Peters continued even after the Dal- las Cowboys lost 30-22 to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC playoffs on Saturday night.
The two players got into it early, with Peters being called for a costly penalty on the Cowboys’ first drive of the game.
Cooper shoved Peters a later point in the game. Then after the game ended, the two got physical again.
Cooper may have had 6 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in the game, but

Peters’ team won, so he probably claims the advan- tage. This kind of fighting be- havior is part of what led the Chiefs to get rid of Peters.
