  2018 Violent Deaths In Review
 Police arrested Sabrina Hendley in connection with the death of Mark Hendley. The incident took place on May 26th at 10518 Angelcrest Drive.
On May 31st, a home inva- sion took place at 12966 Mor- ris Bridge Road. During the offense, 25-year-old Shan- non Caddo, a.k.a. Shannon Collins was fatally wounded by the home owner.
In October, detectives with the Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s Office, arrested Vincent Benitez, 20; Taylor Pritt, 20; and Ashley Causey, 32; and charged them with his murder. They were allegedly accomplices in the home inva- sion.
JUNE
The death of Jose Solier, 31, remains an ongoing inves- tigation with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. He was killed while at 3105 College Avenue, on June 13th.
On June 24th, Tampa Po- lice investigated the death of Pedro Aguerreberry, 42, in front of 8504 New Tampa Blvd. Mikese Morse, 30, is accused of intentionally hit- ting him and his two sons as they rode their bicycles. The children survived.
JULY
The death of Derrick Russ, 39, remains an open in- vestigation. He was killed at 2702 E. 18th Avenue on July 8th.
Tim Braun was killed after shooting at deputies who returned fire, fatally wounding him. The shooting took place at 11004 Estates Del Sol Dr., on July 13th.
Nicholas Mortazavi, 20, was located at 3515 S. Dale Mabry when he was killed on July 20th. Police arrested 19- year-old Marquez Roberts in connection with the case.
On July 23rd, Tampa Police arrested 38-year-old Monica Lozano in connection with the death of Carol Han- dadobis, 65. The death took place at 3902 E. 21st Avenue.
Sergio Greene, 27, was fatally injured while at 8111 N. Mulberry Street on July 25th. Police arrested Glennis Mays, 24, and charged him with the murder.
AUGUST
Tampa Police arrested Shakayla Dennison, 26, and charged her with drown-
ing her daughter, Jehyrah Daniels, 4, in the Hillsbor- ough River. Witnesses ob- served Dennison wade into the water and drop the child in the river on August 2nd.
Rebekah Dean was ar- rested and charged with the murder of Tim Passmore. The murder took place at 11302 North U. S. Highway 301. He died on August 20th.
Travis Gray is accused of
fatally wounding Anthony Jeffries on August 26th. Jef- fries was found in the street in front of 14532 Lucerne Drive, and died at a local hos- pital.
The deaths of Marcus Bowden, 41, and Al- bertlean East, 26, remain an open case. They died on Au-
gust 31st while at 9508 N. 10th Street.
SEPTEMBER
Police arrested 21-year-old Sarah Kynay Martinez on charges of first-degree mur- der, armed burglary, and at- tempted robbery with a deadly weapon. She is accused of killing 74-year-old Eddie Quezada on September 2nd.
TeSean Blue, 18, died after being shot on September 3rd, while riding his bicycle in the 9400 block of Brooks Street. Tampa Police arrested Misael Mora, 18, and charged him with murder.
Michael Stephey was
while at 7702 E. Sligh Avenue. De- tectives charged Sara Dear- man with his murder on October 2nd, while in Laurel,
Mississippi.
Lenton Chambers, Jr.,
was arrested and charged with the murder of his wife, Evelyn Chambers, on September 7th, while at 3675 Sugar Creek Drive.
Karen Sutton died at 2205 Preservation Green Court, on September 28th. Joseph Sutton was charged with her murder.
Police learned that 61- year-old Tamara Harris and James Firment, 56, died at their residence at 307 W. Al- fred. The deaths were ruled a murder-suicide. Their bodies were discovered on September 30th.
On September 30th, Tampa Police responded to the corner of Willow and Swann in refer- ence to a man lying in the road. Justin Heilig, 34, died
as a result of his injuries. Melissa McNutt was charged in the fatal shooting.
OCTOBER
The following day, October 1st, Tampa Police responded to 3146 Waverly Avenue. Jor- dan Wubbena, 25, died as a result of his injuries. His case remains an open investigation.
The death of Anthony Galasso remains an open in- vestigation and no arrests have taken place. Galasso was killed on October 6th while at 10111 Sligh Avenue.
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice issued a warrant for the arrest of Robert Lee Taylor, III, in December 2018. He is accused of fatally shooting John Jacobi, III, on October 9th at 11211 East Bay Road, #71.
Laura Pietscher, 28, died while at 3712 N. 15th Street. The murder that took place on October 19th, remains unsolved.
On October 19th, Hillsbor- ough County detectives inves- tigated the murder of Michael Montalbano, died at 8505 Lincoln Cove Dr. David Mendoza was ar- rested and charged.
Tyrone Johnson was charged with killing
Stephanie Willis, and her 10-year-old son, Ricky, at 4302 Mariner’s Cove Dr. The double murder took place on October 21st.
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice arrested Juan Luis Hernandez on October 23rd. Hernandez was arrested in connection with the death of Michael Kurz, which took place at 14610 42nd Street.
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice investigated two murders on October 25th. Katrina Burlingame died while at 7620 32nd Avenue, South.
Juan Becerra died while at 8750 Symmes Road. Both cases remain active investiga- tions.
On November 12th, Miche- line Messersmith was killed while at 3024 W. Patterson Avenue. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has not made an arrest in the case.

      On November 15th, the bodies of Derek Archie, Xavier Greene, and Haley Stone were discovered by firemen in a home at 6122 16th Street, South. The Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
Tampa Police is continuing to investigate the murder of Cristian Osorio. The mur- der occurred on November 17th at 2409 State Street.
On November 19th, Tampa Police investigated the murder of 20-year-old Kameron Armstrong. The death took place at the intersection of Floribraska and Central Av- enue. The case remains open.
