Harram Temple No. 23, Inc., Prince Hall Shriners Participate In MLK Dream Big Parade
Recently, under the lead- ership of Noble James C. Holmes, Jr. and under the directorship of Noble An- thony E. Jones, Temple Director, Parades and Spe- cial Events, several Nobles from Harram Temple No. 23, Inc., Prince Hall Shriners, participated in the MLK Dream Big Parade on January 15, 2018 in St. Pe- tersburg, Florida.
Nobles from Harram Temple No. 23, Inc. Prince Hall Shriners “Showed Up” and “Showed Out” showcas- ing their Color Guard Unit, Motorized Unit, Bicycle Unit, Motorcycle Unit, Stroller Unit, and their Col- orful Clown Unit.
Harram Temple No. 23, Inc., Prince Hall Shriners is a non-profit 501(c) (3) or- ganization. Some of the charitable endeavors and programs the Temple is in- volved with includes the Ed- ucational/Charity program which covers donating school supplies/book bags, youth program, Big Brothers

In addition, the Temple awards seven $500.00
Watts Sanderson, Jr. Memo- rial Educational Scholar- ships annually to selected and deserving college/uni- versity bound students, to include vocational/trade school students to help offset and defray any unexpected out of pocket expenses they may incur while attending their academic institution of
higher learning.
Most importantly, mem-
bers of the Temple prepare and distribute over 50+ food baskets during their annual holiday food basket program for selected less fortunate families in the community, to include the sponsorship for the annual clothes closet give-a-way distribution pro-
gram for those in need of clothing, shoes, toys for chil- dren and much more!
