NBA All-Star Rosters 2018: Starters, Reserves
STEVEN CURRY, JAMES HARDEN AND KYRIE IRVING
LeBron James Becomes
Tyronn Lue To Make Changes To Cavaliers' Lineup
TYRONN LUE
With a contentious team meeting apparently not enough to shake the Cleveland Cavaliers from their extended midseason slump, another loss finally convinced coach Ty- ronn Lue that it is time to shake up his lineup.
"I'm gonna make a change," Lue said after a 114- 102 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday marked the Cavs' 10th defeat in 13 games since Christmas Day.
Lue would not reveal which starter or starters he would target with the shuffle. However, besides LeBron James and Kevin Love, all three other positions could be switched in Isaiah Thomas, JR Smith and Jae Crow- der.
Thomas shot 3-for-9 against the Spurs and had just two assists with three turnovers, racking up a plus- minus of minus-15 in 28 min- utes.
Smith shot 0-for-4 from the field and 0-for-3 from 3 on Tuesday. He is 5-for-31 from 3 (16.1 percent) in the Cavs' past seven games.
Crowder had one of his better games of the season at San Antonio, with 13 points on 4-for-6 shooting and four re- bounds.
If Lue chooses to go big by putting Tristan Thompson back at center and sliding Love to power forward, Crowder would be ushered to the second unit.
Seventh Player In NBA History
To Score 30,000 Points
Superstar LeBron James has hit yet another career milestone.
Reluctant to view himself as a scorer, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward became the seventh player in NBA history to score 30,000 points, hit- ting the mark during Tuesday night's 114-102 loss against the San Antonio Spurs.
A deep jumper over Danny Green to end the first quarter put him over the mark. He immediately em- braced with one of his closest friends, Dwyane Wade.
James entered the game needing just seven points to join Dirk Nowitzki (30,837), Wilt Chamber- lain (31,419), Michael Jor- dan (32,292), Kobe Bryant (33,643), Karl Malone (36,928) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387) in the exclusive club.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver issued a state- ment on James' achieve- ment: "Congratulations to LeBron on reaching 30,000 points - yet another milestone in an extraordinary career that continues to inspire."
Not only did the 33-year- old James become the youngest to reach 30,000 points, he is also the fourth- fastest to do it (by number of games played) — behind Abdul-Jabbar, Jordan and Chamberlain.
LeBron's Kids And Wife Adorably Congratulated Him On 30,000 Points In Video
After LeBron James be- came the youngest player in NBA history to score 30,000 career points in the Cavaliers- Spurs game on Tuesday night, the Cavs shared an awesome video of a bunch of

different people congratulat- ing the three-time champ on his accomplishment.
The best part comes around the six-minute mark when James’ family speaks. His 13 and 10-year-old sons, his 3-year-old daughter and his wife all shared touching messages.
LeBron Jr. was the only one who dropped a joke, as he so often does. Here’s what they said:
10-year-old Bryce:
“Congratulations dad, on 30,000 points, and you’re the best.”
13-year-old LeBron Jr.: “Congratulations dad, on 30,000 points. I’m proud of you, but you know I taught you well. (*dabs*)”
3-year-old Zhuri: “Con- gratulations daddy! I love you! (*blows kiss)”
Savannah: “Congratula- tions my love, on being the youngest NBA player to score 30,000 points in your career. Iamsoproudofyou—be- yond proud. I know the work that you put in day in and day out to be able to work at this high level, and I’m so proud of you. I hope that you are also proud of this moment. It’s a huge milestone for you, and you should celebrate yourself and be very proud of yourself. And we love you, and keep doing what you do. You got this.”
