Elderly Woman Killed In East Tampa Home

Shooting At Apartment Complex
Tampa Police report that an elderly woman was found in her home Saturday, suffering from upper body trauma.
Police said on Saturday evening, Ms. Loretta Jack- son, 78, was found inside her home. Police said there was forced entry into the home, and they suspect foul play.

On November 12th at 10 p.m., Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of West Rambla Street. When of- ficers arrived, they learned that an argument between neigh- bors had escalated until one produced a gun and shot the other in the face before fleeing the scene.
The victim was identified as William B. Alvarez, 23. The suspect was identified as David Eric Britt, 48.

Woman Shot To Death During Sex

Tampa Police reported an incident that occurred Novem- ber 7th when Tyrone Fields, 21, fatally wounded Christina Meagher, 18.
Police said the couple was role playing at a hotel on Church Avenue when Meagher was shot. Fields reportedly immediately called 9-1-1 and told detectives the shooting occurred during freaky sex.
Detectives said Fields told them he and Meagher were having sex when he put a gun to her head in a role-play sce- nario. Police said Fields re- moved the magazine from his

Suspect Sought In ATM Robbery
Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s deputies are asking for help in finding the armed sus- pect who robbed a victim at a bank ATM in Carrollwood last week.
According to reports, on No- vember 6 at 7:20 p.m., the vic- tim was withdrawing cash from the ATM drive-through at Regions Bank, 6310 Gunn Highway, when he was ap- proached by an armed suspect.
Deputies said the victim handed the suspect money he had received from the ATM while the suspect held a gun on him. The suspect fled south on Normandie Road towards the Logan Gate subdivision.

When police arrived they found Meagher on a bed in the hotel with a gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
Police said Fields told them the pair had only known each other for two days. He also told police the shooting was an accident.
Fields is being held on a charge of manslaughter in the shooting.
Tampa Police are investigat- ing an early Saturday morning shooting in the parking lot of a Tampa strip club that left two people injured with gunshot wounds.
Tampa Police were called to the Hush Gentleman’s Club, 3260 West Hillsborough Av- enue at 2:50 a.m., and reported that as the club was closing, gunshots were fired from one or more vehicles in the parking lot.
Victoria Martinez, 27, was shot in the back and is reported to be in stable condition, and another patron, also 27, was shot in the chest and is re- ported to be in critical condi- tion.
Police said the victims were leaving the nightclub when they were shot.
Police aid many details about the incident are unclear and the two victims may have been by- standers.
At 6:15 a.m. Thursday morning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office re- ceived a 9-1-1 call from a home in Riverview.
When deputies arrived, they found the bodies of Virgil Best, 70, and Shirley Best, 69, at 10719 Dixon Drive, where the couple owned a fish farm.
Deputies said Virgil Best had been shot once and his wife, Shirley was shot twice. Marisol Best, 30, their daughter-in-law, arrived at the house Wednesday and shot them because she was upset about how her in-laws were re- acting about the court date for their son. She has been charged with first-degree mur- der.
Investigators said Marisol shot the couple because she was upset at the negativity her in-laws were displaying about Robert Best, the couple’s son and her husband. On the day the bodies were found, Robert had been scheduled to

go to trial in Polk County on a charge that he sexually bat- tered a teenage girl in 2013.
The Sheriff’s Office re- ported that Robert found the bodies of his parents early Thursday when he and his wife stopped by to pray before his court appearance. He immedi- ately called 9-1-1.
Marisol Best also is facing a charge of violation of proba- tion form an earlier conviction on a charge of interference with child custody.
