FBI Offers $5,000 Reward For Return Of Stolen Guns
Suspect Steals Nearly $1,000 Worth Of Infant Formula
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on July 14th at 3:52 p. m., a man entered the Neighborhood Market by Walmart, 4525 Gunn Highway. He was report- edly seen filling a shopping cart full of infant formula, worth $965 and attempted to leave the store through the front en- trance.
When the door would not open, the suspect left the cart at the door and walked through the store’s front exit. He then walked through the front en- trance and retrieved the cart full of merchandise and walked out without paying for the items. He was seen leaving in a white 4-door Honda Accord.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 150 to 180 pounds, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, and was last seen wearing a blue Under Ar-

Police Ask For Help In Identifying Kidnapping, Carjacking Suspect

This man is suspected of kidnapping and carjacking.
Clearwater Police are asking for help in identifying a kidnap- ping and carjacking suspect.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning when a 23- year-old Clearwater man agreed to give a man a ride near U.S. 19 and Sunset Point Road. The passenger then began bat- tering the driver and forced him to drive to a bank ATM where he was ordered to with- draw cash, police said. The sus- pect then switched places with the man and continued to bat- ter him as they drove, police.
At some point, the victim jumped out of the car at Keene and Druid Road. He ran to a house for help and medical help was called. The victim was hos- pitalized for treatment of his in- juries and later released.
The suspect was described as a Black male with a thin build, mustached and an earring in his left ear. He was last seen wearing a tee shirt that said “Cali Life” across the front.
The Tampa Office of the Fed- eral Bureau of Investigations is currently offering a reward for the recovery of four stolen guns. The agency will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the recovery of the weapons that were taken during sepa- rate vehicle burglaries last year.
One of the car burglaries took place in Wesley Chapel in May 2014. The agent’s car was parked in a community near County Line Road when the burglary took place. Several items were taken.
Police stopped James Weed, 24, in a stolen vehicle. According to his plea agree- ment, Weed gained access to a gated community and removed a Remington 12-gauge shot- gun, a box of rifle bullets, two bullet-proof vest, three loaded magazines for a Glock hand- gun, handguns, a bag contain- ing 5 boxes of ammunition, and other items. Some of the items that had been reported were re- covered in the car.
Weed was sentenced to 5 years, 9 months for the theft.
Jarvos Leonard White, 25, pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm and ammunition after a felony conviction and the theft of government prop- erty. He was sentenced to 7 years, 10 months in federal prison last week.
Court documents showed on Christmas 2014, several cars were broken into in the Boyette Springs subdivision in Riverview.

One of those vehicles was as- signed to an FBI agent. Among the items stolen were three firearms, ammunition, and body armor. Police found a blood stain inside the vehicle and a DNA test matched the blood stain to White.
Officials said in both burgla- ries, the suspects were ran- domly breaking into parked cars.

Man Charged With Four Counts Of Sexual Battery
On Thursday at 4:50 p. m., Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call re- porting that a teenager had been raped.
The suspect and victim know each other, deputies said.
The suspect, identified as Chaunka Davis, 46, report- edly forced his way into the vic- tim’s bedroom armed with a kitchen knife and held the vic- tim against her will and as- saulted her several times during the day.
Davis reportedly tied the victim up before leaving the lo- cation of the assault. She was later able to free herself and call her mother. The victim’s mother reportedly found her daughter assaulted, beaten and bruised.

An alert was placed for Davis and his vehicle. Deputies came in contact with Davis in the area of Dale Mabry and he was arrested. He was charged with 4 counts of sexual battery with a deadly weapon, and false imprison- ment.

Deputies Need Help Identifying Suspects In Business Burglary

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 23-year-old man turned himself in for the July 11th theft of a Confederate Flag from a Bradenton Resi- dence.
Dejerrian Murray was identified in a Facebook video posed that went viral after the theft of the flag.
Murray’s act was part of a hashtag-based challenge that caused pranksters to steal Con- federate flags wherever they were on display.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that on August 18th at 2:58 a. m., four suspects entered A-1 Pawn, 4347 West Waters Avenue. After getting inside the busi- ness, the foursome made a hole in the wall to gain access to A-1 Pawn located at 4345 West
Waters Avenue. The suspects then removed property, includ- ing firearms before leaving the store.
