Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made superhero-like noise at the box office in its opening weekend, taking a record-breaking $170.1 mil- lion.
Audiences flocked to see the battle between Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill) in the DC Comics film, which also intro- duced Wonder Woman
(Gal Gadot).
It's the biggest March open- ing weekend ever (beating 2012's The Hunger Games at $152.5 million), the largest Easter opening (beating 2015s Furious 7, $147.2 million) and the largest Warner Bros. do- mestic release ever (beating 2011s final Harry Potter film, $169.2 million).
Over the weekend, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s 2nd baby shower was hosted by the Kardashians, for the upcoming arrival of their baby girl. A few weeks ago, they had a shower in NYC and their sec- ond shower was hosted in LA. A ton of famous faces showed
up for the bash including Kris Jenner, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kar- dashian, Kourtney Kar- dashian, Malika Haqq and a few others. The guests chowed down on the McDon- ald’s catered cuisine.

$70M Lawsuit Against Tyler Perry Dismissed
RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey May
Change Her Address Because
Her Marriage Is In Trouble
Tyler Perry was sued over starred with Gabrielle Union.
Thejasminebrand.com ex- clusively reports, Tyler Perry has shut down a $70 million dollar lawsuit accusing him of stealing from an unknown au- thor, with a federal court judge throwing out the entire case and awarding the writer noth- ing from her complaint and blasted her for filing the suit.
Last year, a woman named Terri Strickland filed a suit against Perry accusing him of ripping off her book for his hit film “Good Deeds“.
Strickland explained she is an author of a book entitled, “Bad Apples Can Be Good Fruit” and it is copyrighted. She said her book has a unique story line, characters, scenes and overall theme.
The woman claimed she mailed a copy of the book to Perry’s office in Atlanta back in 2008. She said she was looking for a production com- pany to help her turn it into a movie. However, instead of reaching out to her after re-
the movie ‘Good Deeds’, where he
ceiving the work, she is ac- cused the director of stealing her material. Strickland said that Perry turned her story into the film “Good Deeds”- which starred Gabrielle Union and Thandie New- ton – and never received her permission or gave her a dime from the profits.
She filed suit for $70 mil- lion dollars in damages along with an injunction from the film continuing to be released.
In January, Perry headed to court and blasted her accu- sations, explaining the woman had previously attempted to sue him for “Good Deeds” back in 2012.
He said the judge heard both arguments in court and his decision noted the two works only bear the most pass- ing similarities. Perry de- manded the entire $70 million dollar lawsuit be thrown out of court, since the woman al- ready lost in court over the same allegations.
Is Cynthia Bailey’s mar- riage coming to an end or does the RHOA just need a new sto- ryline?
The reality star recently re- vealed during Reality Checked with Radio Andy, that her mar- riage is in serious trouble.
“Peter and I are not in a great place right now, honestly I don’t know what’s going to happen with us right now, we’re still trying to figure it out. It’s complicated.”
“We’ve been married five years. We’ve been together for eight. We’re the only couple on The Real Housewives of At- lanta that was actually married on The Real Housewives of At- lanta. I’m a lover of love,” Cyn- thia continues. “You know, I am the woman that will leave New York City and relocate

with her child and nanny to At- lanta for love, OK? I always thought that I would end up back in New York,” Cynthia says. “But, I’m kind of feeling L.A. ... I love acting. Hopefully I move out to L.A., and there will be more acting opportunities.”
Support Builds For ‘Tribe Call Quest’ Boulevard In Queens, NY
Tribe Call Quest members are mourning the death of one of its founders, Phife Dawg.
There is powerful movement toward changing the name of a Queens street to honor the legacy of A Tribe Called Quest and Phife Dawg.
Last week, Phife Dawg, a founding member of the iconic group, died due to complica- tions with diabetes.
Tee Smif, one of the organ-
izers, told AllHipHop exclu- sively that they were already pushing for this change, but Phife’s passing makes the tim- ing more critical. Smif also said that Talib Kweli was al- ready in support of it and roughly 2,200 people had signed a petition at the time of this writing.
