INVITATION TO BID (ITB) B-003-20 PORT REDWING RAIL EXTENSION PROJECT NO. 20-01319
Port Tampa Bay (PTB) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors interested in providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all work to construct a new rail system in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications which include CSX Transportation “Standard Specifications for the Design and Construction of Private Sidetracks” latest edition.
Prospective bidders are required to participate in MANDATORY PRE-BID TELECONFERENCE scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. and download the site video via https://tampaportauthority.sharefile.com/ds9d2fb6a8de548a29
prior to the teleconference. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders Section of the bid document for teleconference details.
The ITB is only available from DemandStar (www.demandstar.com). Interested firms shall submit a completed response to Port Tampa Bay, 1101 Channelside Drive, 4th Floor, Tampa, FL 33602. Sealed Bids are due by Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
PTB encourages the use of registered Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to the greatest extent possible on PTB projects and has a goal of nine percent (9%) SBE participation.
