HEARING OFFICER
Hillsborough County is seeking to appoint of one or more Land Use Hearing Officers as provided in the Hillsborough County Land Development Code. The Land Use Hearing Officers will conduct hearings & render decisions regarding applications for rezoning and related matters. Applicants must have a degree in planning or related field & three years experience or a degree in architecture, engineering or law & licensed to practice in Florida for three years. Applicants cannot hold appointive or elective office or a position in government in order to serve as a Land Use Hearing Officer. This is a personal services contract not to exceed $75,000 per year. Pursuant to F.S.713.585 the cash amount would be sufficient to redeem the vehicles from the Lienor. Any interested party has a right to a hearing prior to the sale by filing a demand for the hearing with the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Hillsborough County and mailing copies of the same to all Owners and Lienor. The owner has a right to recover possession of the vehicles by posting bond pursuant to F.S.559.917 and if sold any proceeds remaining from the sale will be deposited with the Clerk of Circuit Court for disposition.
