MRS. BETTY REED
The Honorable Mrs. Betty Reed passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Funeral Serv- ices will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th Street, Tampa, FL 33617, Pastor Earl B. Mason, Sr., Offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. MASK RECOM- MENDED.
Betty was a native of Pel- ham, GA, and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. She at- tended National Louis Univer- sity and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences. She was a member of Bible- Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace and was em- ployed as a State Representa- tive for District 59 and 61 in the State House of Representatives from 2006-2014.
She leaves to cherish her memories: beloved husband of 65 years, James Reed; five chil- dren, Levetta Jefferson (Alton), James Reed (Beverly), Michael Reed (Paulette), Lorenzo Reed (Stephanie), and Cametra Ed- wards; one daughter-in-love, Lawanda Love; a host of gran- children, Tenisha Reed, Michael Reed II, Tyandre Reed (Candace), Loarian Reed, Moses Jefferson, Ajani Ed- wards, Eden Edwards, Saniyah Reed, Lorenzo Reed, (in love) Alton Jefferson, II, (deceased), Maletha Love, Milton Gree, Je- remy Green, Zuri Moultrie; sib- lings, Eula Mae Anderson, Jack McClendon, Jr., Peggy Johns, Roy (Louis) McClendon, Eu- gene (Bobbie) McClendon, James McClendon (Linda), Ronnie McClendon (Kim), Bob- bie Jean Davis, Betty Johnson, Brenda McClendon, Riley Mc- Clendon (Regina), Gloria Reese, and a host of nieces, nephews, and beloved family and friends.

Ms. Rogers was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Tampa for 25 years. She attended D.W. Waters Career Center and was a member of Center for Man- ifestation. She was employed as a Customer Service Specialist at 24-7 Intouch.

Alfonso was born in Colum- bus, Georgia, on January 12, 1934, to Odessa and Riley Samp- son.
He was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Kate Adams-Johnson; parents; Odessa Williams and Riley Sampson; and son, Dalfonso Lofton Sampson.

“Tony” was born August 3, 1991, in Tampa, Florida, to Mr. Gerald and Wendy Williams. He was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County and attended Armwood Senior High School, where he later re- ceived his GED. He was recently employed by Rooms to Go in Tampa, Florida.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mrs. Wendy Williams; maternal grand- mother, Wanda Bolesta; and god grandmother, Gloria Tucker.

Mr. Marshall was an Electronic Assembler for an Electronic Manufacturer. Mr. Lawrence Earl Marshall, Sr., served hon- orable in the United States Ma- rine Corp.
Mr. Lawrence Marshall, Sr., was preceded in death by: mother, Dosha Belle Coffield and father, Eddie Earl Marshall.
Mr. Marshall is survived by: children, Enriquita Marshall- Brown, Lawrence E.
