BRO. REGINALD (REGGIE) LEONARD OLIVER
Homegoing celebration for Bro. Reginald Leonard Oliver, who transitioned March 11, 2016, will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 2 p. m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 North 40th Street, Tampa, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor, eulogist, with Rev. Leonard Harring- ton, officiating.
Bro. Reginald Leonard Oliver was born in Ocala, FL, to the late Mr. Lee El- bert Oliver and Mrs. Theretha Mae Oliver.
He attended the public schools of Marion County.
Reggie loved to cook and was co-owner of Reggie and Jays BBQ in Tampa.
Reggie also loved to dress and wear hats.
In his spare time, Reggie enjoyed fishing and hang- ing out with his family, where he always kept every- one laughing, no matter the situation.
Reggie accepted the Lord into his life and was a faith- ful member of Northside Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Ricardo Robinson.
Reggie was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. Lee Elbert Oliver and Mrs. Theretha Mae Oliver; a daughter, Angela Oliver; and 2 sisters, Mary Oliver and Joyce Hammonds.
Reggie leaves to cherish fond memories of love and laughter with: his 3 chil- dren, Regina (Guillermo) Serano-Valencia of Live Oak, FL, Felix Gillespie of Tampa, and Jayla Oliver of Ocala, FL; 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth, OlaJuwan, Angel, Marisa, Cataleya Va- lencia, and Guillermo Ser- ano of Live Oak, FL, and Jordan Gillespie of Tampa; 3 brothers, Lee Oliver, Sr. of Tampa, Clevester (Jer- netha) Oliver of Bartow, FL, and Tyrone (Emily) Oliver of Ocala, FL; 2 sisters, Diane Coney of Miami, FL, and Sharon Williams of Ocala, FL; an aunt, Vernice Butler; special friend, Jade Millet; and a host of sor- rowing nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2016, from 6-8 p. m. at the funeral home.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church (5706 North 40th Street) for the service at 1:45 p. m.

MRS. WANDA JEAN TOLBERT
Mrs. Wanda Jean Tolbert of Tampa, passed away Tues- day, March 8, 2016.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 19 at 11 a. m. at Mount Pleas- ant Missionary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Street, with Reverend Dr. C. T. Kirkland, pastor, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Tolbert was a native of Ocilla, GA, and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. She was known as “Ma Jean” by many of her loved ones, and she was educated by the pub- lic schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1970.
Mrs. Tolbert accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age and was a member of Mount Pleasant M. B. Church, where she served with the Sanctuary Usher Board.
Sister Tolbert retired from the School District of Hills- borough County, as a Bus At- tendant.
She leaves to cherish fond memories of her in their hearts forever: her devoted and loving husband and caregiver, Mr. Arthur Tol- bert, Jr.; her children, Tonia
Ponder-Pyron (Ricky, Sr.), Rickey Ponder (Rhonda), Katina Ponder (Cedric), Laisha Ponder and Deborah Ponder; step-daughter, An- gela Tolbert; 18 grandchil- dren, Chuck, Rickey, Jr., JaLisa, Ashari, De’Asjia, Shawanna, Quantavia, Brit- tany, Ric’kiana, Ber’tiana, Tamira, Cedric, Jr., Oscar, Jr., De’Shard, JaMontae, Ja’Meisha, Maurice, Sr., Shaniqua, Demetric and Roc’Kivia; 13 great grand- children; 4 siblings, Doretha McGill-Bull (Robert, Jr.,), Gloria McGill and Quincy McGill, all of Tampa, and Nathaniel Reeves (Annette) of Alapaha, GA; sisters-in- law, Deborah Caldwell (Don- ald), Earnestine Riley (Joseph), Charlie Mae McGill, Gail Ruff, Barbara McGill and Sue McGill of Val- dosta, GA, brothers-in-law, Lorenzo Tolbert (Mildred), and Alton Walker (Mar- garet); nieces and nephews, Michelle (Wendell), Carol (Mike), Daryl (Nena), Can- dance, Davin, Andreau (Duke), and Cheroida, all of Tampa, Reginald (Shiril) of TN, Leo McGill, Jr., Lola (Alphonso), Debra, Mary, Chris and Michael, all of Val- dosta, GA, Scottie, Randy, and Ann and family; a host of cousins, extended family and friends; special acknowl- edgement to Mr. Gregory Stafford, Mr. Ken Royal and family, Margaret and Mil- dred; great granddaughter, MeMe; LifePath Hospice, Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital Staffs.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, March 18 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, and the family will re- ceive friends from 7-8 p. m. at the Chapel.

MR. SHELTON H. ROGERS
Graveside services for Mr. Shelton H. Rogers, who passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016, will be held on Fri- day, March 18, 2016, at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery, Tampa, with Pastor Louise Gentle, One Made Whole Bible Church, officiat- ing.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mrs. Inell S. Rogers; parents, Mr. Enoch B. Rogers and Mrs. Annie Mattie Williams Rogers; brothers, Algertha Rogers (Al), Robert B. Rogers (Buddy), Leroy J. Rogers, Enoch J. Rogers and Ira Lee Rogers (Fathead); and sister, Dorothy E. Little.
Mr. Rogers was baptized very early in life at Mt. Zion M. B. Church, Picnic, FL.
He attended Hillsborough County schools, and earned a GED from George S. Middle- ton High School.
Mr. Rogers attended me- chanics school for two years at Don Thompson, and he took up one year of tailoring at Blake High School. He also earned a Certificate of Busi- ness Management at USF.
Mr. Rogers was drafted into the Army and served two years. He retired from Cargill Phosphate Company after 33 years. Twenty-two of those years he served as Supervisor of the Paint Department.
Mr. Rogers was very close to his siblings. After their par- ents died, he helped to care for them. He believed, “A per- son must earn respect, and that actions heal, not words.”
He enjoyed watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Rays, fishing and reading the paper daily.
He was affectionately revered as “Pops” and his memory will be cherished by: Jeanette Jackson (James), Pearly Dinks (Willie), Matthew Martin, Jr. (Vir- ginia), Cornell Martin (Joann) of Texas, Sylvia Mar- tin (Robert), Shernetha Davis and Leon Vickers (Lucinda); 16 grandchildren, 25 great grands and 1 great great grand, who adored him with the title of “Poppy;” his brother, Luther Rogers; sis- ter, Louise Rogers (Malone); and a host of sorrowing nephews, nieces, friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 6-8 p. m. at Stone’s Me- morial Funeral Home, 5016 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, 33610, (813) 237-1134.
