MR. JOHN BENNETT, JR.
Homegoing Services for Mr. John Bennett, Jr. of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, will be held on Saturday, March 19at2p.m.atAikensFu- neral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Aaron Munford, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
John was born September 3, 1929 in Pelham, Georgia, to the late John and Irene Bennett.
He enjoyed watching nu- merous sporting events.
John accepted Christ at an early age under the leader- ship of Dr. T. W. Jenkins, New Hope M. B. Church.
John was employed by O’- Falk Laundry and Lykes Brothers as a butcher, where he retired from after many years.
He was preceded in death by: both parents; and wife, Jeffery Bennett.
He leaves to cherish his memories: 2 devoted and loving daughters, Diane B. Bennett-Fasion and Darlene D. Bennett; son, Clem Salter and wife, Sharon; grandchil- dren, Skye A. Bennett-Fa- sion, Angie, Fredrick, Andreta and Brian Salter; great grandchildren, Aramis A. Robinson; special associ- ates, Eddie Lee Williams, Sr., Evergreen Neal, Charles Kendall, Nathan Turner, De- loris Hunter and Edward James Todd; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 18th from 5-8 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the funeral ceremony.

The visitation for Sha- keem Lee Crawford of Tampa, formerly of Colum- bus, Ohio, who passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016, will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 12-2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
Shakeem was born on Oc- tober 4, 1997. He attended The Crossover Church.
He enjoyed playing basket- ball, working, playing his PS4 and girls.
He was preceded in death by: his great grandmothers, Barbara Chapman and Er- nitha Jattnson; great great grandmother, Anna Mae Gardner; and great grandfa- ther, Robert Crawford, Sr.

MRS. LINDA RENEE TAGGETT MARTIN
Homegoing services for Mrs. Linda Renee Taggett Martin of Tampa, who passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016, will be held Saturday, March 19 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of Port Tampa, 8306 Interbay Blvd., Rev. Roy Young, offici- ating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Linda was born June 27, 1963 in Tampa, to the late Henry and Ollie Mae Taggett. She was affectionately known as “Baby Girl and Bow-legs”.
Linda attended Hillsbor- ough County schools, gradu- ating from T. R. Robinson High School, class of 1981. She was a member of Disci- ples of Christ Ministry for over 11 years, Rev. Roy L. Young, Jr., pastor.
“Baby Girl” had a passion for event planning, her staff and team “Showers are Us”, she enjoyed cooking at her restaurant, “Irreplaceable Catering”, and loved to quench your thirst with her famous lemonade stand, “Miamar Lemonade”. She also had a passion for inte- rior decorating, she was a “Jill of all trades.”
Most of all she was a loving woman who cared about everyone. She would give you the shirt off her back to keep you warm. She was free- hearted, and if you needed Linda was going to give it.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; a brother, Rene Allen, Sr.; aunt, Lillie Mae Starks; and her pet, Jayda Kizz.

MR. THOMAS JUNIOR GODWIN
Celebration of life service for Mr. Thomas Junior God- win, who passed away on March 4, 2016, will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1 p. m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2903 E. Sligh Av- enue, Tampa, Rev. Ruben Nance, pastor, officiating. In- terment will be at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Thomas Junior God- win was born on April 23, 1954, to the late Mr. Henry and Lola M. Godwin. Thomas was the fifteenth child born to this union.
On March 4, 2016, Thomas silently slipped away to be with his Savior Jesus Christ. In his earlier life, he was con- verted to Christ and baptized by the late Rev. Harold Wynn, where he became a member of Mt. Labor Mis- sionary Baptist Church.
Thomas was united in holy matrimony to Theresa Robinson. To this union, three loving daughters were born, Katrisha, Tammie and Jillian Godwin.
Thomas Jr. Godwin gradu- ated in 1975 from Marianna High School.
Later, he moved to Tampa, and became employed by Kearny Construction Com- pany and Guardsmark Secu- rity Agency.
Thomas was preceded in death by: his loving parents, Henry, Sr. and Lola Godwin; Smart Godwin, Patrick H. Godwin, Sr., Otis Godwin (Adell), Bessie Lee and Willie B. Wilson, Mary Lizzie, Woodrow Williams, Mary Louise, Willie D. Peterson, Catherine Godwin, Oliver Black, Sr., Herman Calhoun and Robert Godwin.
Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memories: three daughters, Katrisha, Tam- mie and Jillian Godwin; three sisters, Emma L. Black, Lillie Mae Davis and Mildred (Robert) Richardson; de- voted niece, as a sister, Mil- dred Calhoun; sister-in-law, Laverne Godwin; and three brothers, Perry Ozie (Helen), Lardell (Louise), and Robert (Linda) Godwin.
Sadly missed by: a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and loving, supporting friends; and special friend, Cathy Barnett.
Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2016 at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 N. 34th Street from 4-6 p. m. Family and friends are asked to as- semble at the church (2903 E. Sligh Ave.) at 12:45 p. m. for the service.
