‘Black Girls Rock’ Honors Go To Gladys Knight, Rihanna And Shonda Rhimes
Rihanna, Gladys Knight and Shonda Rhimes will be among the honorees.
A young man by the name of Rymir Satterthwaite has been claiming to be the son of Jay Z for a while. He’s also been trying to force Jay Z to take a paternity test. While at- tempting to go forward with the paternity suit, both Sat- terthwaite and his mother, Wanda were financially un- prepared to deal with or take on the enormity of their cases.
Interestingly enough, the young aspiring rapper resem- bles Jay Z. Satterthwaite stated he only wants to push on with it so he can get confir- mation that Jay Z is his bio-
logical father.
Now, there are rumors that a
few friends and relatives of Rymir have said that Rymir knows who his real father is, but he enjoys the attention the lawsuit gives him. Allegedly he thinks the lawsuit will get Jay Z to pay him settlement/hush money.
Sources say he brags that Beyonce must know his name because of the lawsuit. His cousin has claimed that his mother was obsessed with Jay Z back in the day, and this is why she isn’t intervening.
Rihanna and Gladys Knight will be recognized next month during the Black Girls Rock! Awards to air on BET.
The ceremony will be taped on April 1st at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and will honor Rihanna with the Rock Star Award, and Knight with the Living Legend Award.
Other honorees include TV
producer/writer Shonda Rhimes who will receive the Shot Caller Award, “The Walk- ing Dead” actress Danai Gurira with the Star Power Award, actress/activist Amandla Stenberg with the Young, Gifted and Black Award, and the Black Lives Matter founders, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi.
Tyrese and V. Bozeman at the 2015 BET Awards.
Now we know what project Tyrese and V. Bozeman’s duet “You Can’t Break Me” is at- tached to!
Tyrese is prepping the pre- miere of a three-part music video called “The Black Book,” “You Can’t Break Me” and two more songs from his Black Rose album will provide the sound- track for the story of a tumul- tuous relationship that ends up at the altar.
From the looks of the trailer, V. Bozeman plays the woman in his life, who deals with all of Tyrese’s character’s B.S. (kind of like “Shame” 2.0.). Tyrese plays an a**hole, and his woman eventually takes him back, and he fully commits to her, fairtytale wedding and all!
The musical drama will ar- rive on Easter Sunday (March 27).

Sony (SNE) and Jackson formed Sony/ATV in 1995, a decade after the King of Pop paid $41.5 million to acquire the ATV catalog, which included many Beatles songs. Jackson outbid Paul McCartney to clinch the deal.
During his lifetime, Jackson was among the first to recognize the value in controlling the rights to popular works.
John Branca and John Mc- Clain, co-executors of Jack- son's estate, said the singer's original purchase of the ATV catalog was "one of the smartest investments in music history."

Mariah Carey’s Brother Blasts Her For Allegedly Not Helping Their Dying Sister
Cast of soap opera drama ‘Saints and Sinners’ on Bounce TV.
Mariah Carey’s brother Morgan is slamming his sis- ter in the media once again, this time to defend their sister, Alison, a former prostitute who’s HIV positive and cur- rently battling rapidly-deterio- rating health.
According to a UK tabloid, The Sun, Morgan allegedly reached out to them to let the world know his sister is al- legedly neglecting her ailing sibling, who he says needs brain and spinal surgery in order to survive. “Your sister is dying and she is struggling and where are you? You think you are so fabulous, but you are a witch,” he told The Sun in an interview on March 12.
“Mariah needs to step up,” Morgan continued. “I flew in from Hawaii last year when Alison was taken off a venti- lator, believing she was going
to die. My sister [Mariah] didn’t even show up at the hos- pital. Thankfully, Alison had a miraculous recovery, but now she needs brain and spinal surgery and will be going into hospital any day,” he added. “Alison has desper- ately reached out to Mariah over and over again. We never hear back.”
Mariah Carey hasn’t had the best relationship with her siblings. The international singer has been estranged from her sister Alison for most of her life, but Mariah has repeatedly tried to help her under the radar to no avail. A source told the National En- quirer in 2015, “Although their relationship has been strained since they were young, Mariah supported Alison and her children on and off for years.
With his Church in These Streets project out and as the Snowman works on another project, Jeezy has teamed up with the Saints & Sinners soap opera/drama to score a song for the soundtrack.
In addition to Jeezy’s song, Big Boi from Outkast fame takes his hand at making music with a Gospel tinge.
The show is centered around a Southern Baptist church and it’s community caught up in a murder mystery.
As the show carries on we learn of characters that endure a world of crime, lust, deceit and greed.
“At Greater Hop Baptist Church only God and the Devil can tell the difference between a saint or a sinner,” reads the tagline for the new Bounce TV show.
Jeezy’s song called “Gotta Be A Man” talks about getting up early to get paper and fight- ing the temptations of alcohol and weed while not losing his faith, even though every once in a while he “loses his reli- gion.”
Another song on the project by Deitrick Haddon and Big Boi is a remix to the song “Sinners (Saved By Grace).” Big Boi talks about being nervous in church as a kid, while Deitrick sings about being the son of a preacher and how the “devil is a lie.”
In addition to Jeezy and Big Boi, Christian focused rapper Lecrae also joins the sound- track.
Sinners & Saints airs on Sundays 9/8 CST on Bounce and recently just aired Episode 3.
