LL COOL J
LL Cool J gave us a dose of his trolling skills Monday (Mar. 14) when he announced on Twitter he was retiring from music, only to delete the tweet and announce his un-retire- ment and a forthcoming album.
“Today I officially retired from music. Thank you for the love.” he originally wrote. Soon after, the tweet was gone, and he posted “Today I’m officially coming out of retirement. And starting a new album.
He also went on a rant for several tweets, which were also deleted and later hailed as a “joke.” “I want fans vs haters to start making wagers on my next album... my day 1s should bet big. I got this,” he wrote.
There were reports swirling that LL was in the studio with Dr. Dre. His last album was 2013’s Authentic, and he has 13 albums under his belt.
Johnnie Gill And New Edition Release New Video With Ole Skool Flavor
Johnny Gill and New Edition are back, and looking better than ever. The group re- leased the video for the song “This One’s For Me and You,” on Vevo recently and it’s defi- nitely reminiscent of the old- school NE sound we loved back in the day.
The song is a love letter to the women in their lives, and of course there’s the NE dance moves. You have to give it to
them—they still have it.
There isn’t a new NE album coming out, this song is from Gill’s album, Game Changer. In a recent interview with Bill- board, Gill spoke about the resurgence of R&B music. Gill and New Edition performing their hits during Tom Joyner’s annual Fantastic Voyage cruise (April 23-May

Chris Brown is one of music’s most talented, yet po- larizing artists. What he can vo- cally do on a stage, coupled with his intricate choreography has made it so to deny him of his just due is foolish, folly and unfathomable. Yet, Brown’s personal life has always made its way to the blogs and front pages, oftentimes not allowing the entertainer to speak up for himself or give his version of events. Well it appears as if those days are behind him.
The Royalty singer took to Instagram Tuesday, (March 15) to give fans a sneak peak into an upcoming documentary. Ti- tled, Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life.
The details on the upcom- ing film are scarce, but its safe for fans to assume there will be tons of footage of his daughter Royalty, as well as some be- hind the scenes clips of him recording his album. Brown will finally get his chance to tell his story his own way.

Subway’s ‘Jared’ Gets Beatdown In Prison
Black- ish Star Admits She Hated Co-Star
The face of ‘Subway’ got jumped in the rec yard in prison.
Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson, stars of TV hit Black- ish.
Jared Fogle got a surprise beatdown in federal prison from an inmate who has major issues with child molesters.
Fogle got jumped in the rec yard at Englewood prison in Colorado, and it was not much of a fight. An inmate named Steven Nigg pushed Fogle down and then unloaded a bar- rage of punches to his face.
Nigg, who's in for a weapons charge, left Fogle with a bloody nose, swollen face and scratches on his neck. Prison officials put Nigg, 60, in soli- tary as punishment.
One thing Tracee Ellis Ross has learned during her time working with Black-ish co-star Anthony Anderson, is to come correct or you’ll get bit.
According to Global Grind, before the two began their journey as the Johnsons on the hit show, the actress con- fessed on Sunday she didn’t al- ways like Anderson. “I hated him,” Ross said. “I hated him and I had a justified reason.”
“I will describe Anthony this way,” she said. “Anthony
has a heart of gold, but it’s cov- ered in shards of glass. No, I’m serious. If you come at him you will get cut. And if you’re somebody who thinks they can say, ‘Well, I didn’t like that you did that...’ You’ll only get cut more.”
Her comments were all in good fun as she praised him in the end. ‘Anthony is an in- credible professional & a very generous actor to everyone.’ Black-ish has been renewed for Season 2B.
