Walking In The Midst Of The Overwhelming
Lord I ask that You would send one or more persons into my life who are willing to pray with me on a regular basis. Let them be people who are trustworthy and ma- ture in Your ways, and who have faith to believe for an- swers to prayer. Help me be sensitive as to who they might be. I know that when the things I face seem over- whelming I need the prayer support of people of strong faith. Enable me to be bold enough to ask for heir prayer support.
If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, “Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,” and it would obey you. LUKE 17:6
Lord, help me to recognize anything that seems over- whelming to me as a sign that I need to immediately draw close to You and pray. Give me a clear sense of what is going on and show me exactly how to pray about it. I know that Your perfect love will take away all my fear. Perfect me in Your love so that I don’t fall victim to the torment that fear can bring. Give me a deeper sense of Your presence, for I know that our presence is far greater than anything that overwhelms me.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 JOHN 4:18
