Bucs' Falls Short In 14-12 Loss To Packers
Bucs Vs Chiefs For Prime-Time Rematch Sunday Night At 8:20 P.M.
In a battle between two future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterbacks, super- star quarterback Aaron Rodgers got the better of the GOAT Tom Brady on Sun- day, leading the Green Bay Packers to a 14-12 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Despite the headlining passers, this was a defensive battle for most of the game, as the Bucs settled down on that side of the ball after giv- ing up back-to-back touch- down drives to start the afternoon. A clutch forced fumble by Vita Vea stopped what would have been a third touchdown drive in a row, as Logan Ryan recovered in the end zone.
The Packers wouldn’t need another score, though, as Tampa Bay’s depleted of- fense struggled to move the ball for most of the game. The Bucs had a third-string left tackle starting due to multi- ple injuries, while Brady was missing his top three wide re- ceivers in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones.
Even with everything that was missing, and all of their

struggles throughout the game, Brady and the Bucs offense still had a chance to force overtime in the final seconds after mounting their only touchdown drive of the game. But a delay of game penalty thwarted the two- point conversion attempt that could have tied things up, and the Packers recov- ered the ensuing onside kick to seal the win.
Brady finished the game 31-for-42 for 271 yards and a touchdown, and Russell Gage led the Bucs with 12 re- ceptions for 87 yards and a score. Leonard Fournette managed just 35 yards on 12 carries, and a pair of fumbles compounded Tampa Bay’s offensive struggles.
The last time the Kansas City Chiefs visited Raymond James Stadium, they walked off the field with a Super Bowl trophy.
It wasn't a celebration for the Chiefs but rather for the newly-crowned NFL-cham- pion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who had just become the first team in league history to win a Super Bowl in its own home stadium. A swarming defense had harassed Kansas City's sublime quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, all night and made sure the Chiefs never touched the end zone in a 31-9 decision in Super Bowl LV. The game capped a historic season for Tom Brady in his first sea- son as the Buccaneers' quar-

terback, as he won his league-record seventh Super Bowl championship and re- sisted a passing of the torch to Mahomes, the league's brightest young superstar.
The Buccaneers and Chiefs will now get together for the first time since that Super Bowl battle, once
again in Tampa. The two elite franchises will enjoy the prime-time spotlight of Sun- day Night Football, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 2.
Brady was 43 when he took that seventh title over the 25-year-old Mahomes and, against some pretty sig- nificant odds, those two sep- arated-by-generations quarterbacks are still at the helm of their respective teams two seasons later. And thus we have yet another premier quarterback matchups at Raymond James Stadium, one week after Brady and Aaron Rodgers did battle in a 14- 12 Green Bay Packers win.

Bucs Have Major Bee Issue During Sunday’s Game
Concussion Check
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers had some unexpected guests for Sunday’s game in the form of a whole lot of bees.
One of the goalposts at Raymond James Stadium was apparently home to a beehive during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Despite the rather unusual sight, nobody seemed to be in any rush to do anything about it, at least initially.

TUA TAGOVAILOA
Tua Tagovailoa returned to Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills after he suffered an injury that initially looked bad. The NFL Players Associ- ation wants to taker a closer look at the incident.
Tagovailoa hit his head off the turf late in the first half following a late hit from Bills linebacker Matt Milano. The quarterback appeared dazed when he got to his feet, and he nearly collapsed after taking a few steps. He was pulled from the game to be evaluated for a head injury.
Many were surprised when Tagovailoa cleared concus- sion protocol and returned to start the second half.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFLPA will investigate the handling of the situation.
that the situation was eventu- ally dealt with by a few staffers armed with a ladder, a bucket, and presumably some bug spray.
Undefeated Dolphins Vs. Bengals Thursday Night
The Miami Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills in week 3, continuing an early season trend that has seen them beat the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. In Week 3, continu- ing an early season trend that has seen them beat the New England Patriots
Now they head into the short week with a Thursday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals to kickoff Week 4 on the sched- ule. Despite being the only AFC team to have not lost
thus far into the season and having beaten the Super Bowl favorites and two other teams thought to be AFC playoff contenders, Miami is still listed as the underdog this week.
