Two men have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting of a man in Town N’ Country. The shoot- ing took place early Monday morning.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the in- tersection of Waters Avenue and Pinehurst Drive, after re- ceiving a 9-1-1 call about a shooting. Witnesses told police that Hernandez was walking down the street when a Black man, later identified as Kafeel Robinson, 21, of Tampa, allegedly produced a handgun and shot him in the upper body. The man is said to have then gotten into the pas- senger side of a silver vehicle and fled the scene.

Bullets also struck the hood of a vehicle occupied by Josephina Figueroa, 20, and 23-year-old Andrea Satka. Although one of the bullets was embedded in the glass windshield, neither occupant was injured, police said.
