A man found dead in a lake Saturday morning at Brooker Creek Park has been identi- fied.
Officers and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue paramedics have identified the man as 60- year-old Anthony John Duran.
Duran’s body was spot- ted by someone at 9:34 a. m. on the northern shoreline of the lake at 2200 13th Avenue North. Emergency personnel pulled his body from the water.

Authorities Search For Woman Seen Using Skimmer Device
St. Petersburg Police are actively looking for a woman caught on surveillance video attaching a skimmer device to an ATM machine at a 7-11 Store last Tuesday.
Skimmer devices are used to steal credit and debit card data from unsuspecting cus- tomers.
Police said an employee of the store at 6161 Fourth Street, North, found the de- vice two hours after seeing a woman acting suspiciously at the ATM. She had attached the skimmer over the ma- chine’s card reader, along with a plastic piece that was painted green to match the store’s colors, police said.
A surveillance video shows the woman at the ma- chine and then leaving the store. Officials have de- scribed her as a white female with brown hair and a pony- tail. She was last seen driving a silver BMW.

who had no known local ad- dress, was pronounced dead at 9:38 a. m. Foul play is not suspected.
On October 3rd at 2:16 a. m., Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rodshee Rayford, 37.
A Crime Stoppers tip lead deputies to 17203 Orange- wood Avenue, in Lutz, where Rayford was found. He has been charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, re- sisting an officer with vio- lence and resisting an officer without violence. He also vio- lated the terms of his parole.
On September 21, 2016 at 11:22 a. m., Hillsborough County Deputy Steve Gutierrez conducted a seat- belt violation stop at 142nd Avenue and 12th Street.
The vehicle, driven by a white female, had a Black male passenger when it pulled into the Stop and Shop, 1201 142nd Street.
The deputy reported that the passenger began to open his door as he approached, and the deputy explained to

both of them the reason for the top and then asked or identification.
The Black male, later iden- tified as Rayford, got out of the vehicle, allegedly shoved the deputy, and the two struggled. The deputy used his taser that proved to be in- effective. A foot pursuit began, and Rayford was able to escape.
Rayford is considered a habitual offender and is being held without bond at this time.
Suspect Arrested In North Carolina
On Friday, a 19-year-old man was arrested in Statesville, North Carolina on charges he shot two men at Bay Vista Park on August 24th.
Authorities said Marcus Frazier was arrested by po- lice in Statesville on a war- rant for two count of attempted first-degree mur- der. The incident occurred at Bay Vista Park, 7000 4th Street, South around 3 a. m., according to St. Petersburg police.
Detectives have not re- ported the motive for the shooting, two victims were wounded.

Three People Die In Separate Accidents
On Sunday night, the Man- atee Sheriff’s Office reported that the body of an 18-year-old was found dead in Palmetto.
A driver spotted the body of
Alexander Anderson on the east side of 1st Avenue in a pool of blood just before mid- night. Anderson had suf- fered a gunshot wound to the
upper body and as dead when deputies arrived.

Accident Leaves Woman In Critical Condition Three adults died recently
as a result of separate traffic accidents. One other person was listed in critical condi- tion after being struck by a car.
According to police, Ms. Annie Marie Christal Skeens, 25, of Tampa, was walking eastbound on west- bound State Road 60 on the outside shoulder, shortly after 9 a.m., Thursday.
Ms. Tianna E. Per- retta, 18, of Valrico, was driving a 2015 Honda Civic westbound on State Road 60 in the outside lane. For un- known reasons, Ms. Per- retta lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway, traveled onto the shoulder and collided with Ms. Skeens.
Ms. Skeens was trans- ported to Tampa General
Hospital, where she was ad- mitted in serious condition.
Police said after the acci- dent, Ms. Perretta left the scene of the accident, but was stopped by a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputy. Ms. Perretta was charged with leaving the scene of an acci- dent involving serious injury and careless driving.
Driver Dies After Losing Control Of Vehicle
A 63-year-old man died Saturday night after losing control of his vehicle. There were no other cars involved in the accident.
According to police, Daniel Hildebrandt, of Sebring, was traveling south- bound on County Line Road, north of Formont Court, in Polk County.
He encountered water on the road, hydroplaned and left the roadway. The 2007 Nissan Altima he was driving hit the ditch and then a tree before stopping.
Hildebrandt was trans- ported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Woman Killed Crossing Street
A 29-year-old Largo
woman died after stepping into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The accident hap- pened in St. Petersburg.
According to police, Ms. Dana Michelle Santoyo was walking in the 2600 block of 5th Avenue N, when she stepped into the street.
She was struck by a 2011 Dodge Durango, driven by Edward Eason, 45.
Ms. Santoyo was trans- ported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital, where she died as a result of her in- juries.
Pedestrian Hit By Two Cars Die
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at around 3:20 a.m., Friday, Edward Davies, 61, of Land O’Lakes, and Keith Cork, 29, of Seffner, were both driving in the center lane of interstate 75, just south of Fowler Av- enue.
Police said a pedestrian was standing in the center lane and was struck by both vehicles. Davies was trans- ported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Cork said he was not injured.
Police have not identified the man killed in the acci- dent.
