SUPERINTENDENT LAUNCHES REORGANIZATION PLAN
On Tuesday during the regular board meeting, Jeff Eakins, Interim Hillsborough County School District Superintendent announced the first phase of the re-organization of his administration. Seventeen employees have been given new responsibilities and titles as part of the re-organization plan. The School Board unani- mously approved the first phase of the re-organization plan. Among those in attendance at the School Board meeting were from left to right: retired Hillsborough County School employee, Henry Ballard, Sr., James Ransom, Interim Superintendent Jeff Eakins, Mrs. Doretha Edgecomb, Vice Chairman, Hillsborough County School Board, Owen Young, whose new title is Area Superintendent of Priority Schools, and Lewis Brinson, newly appointed Chief Diversity Officer.
