When I Struggle With Doubt
Lord, it is by faith we stand (2 Corinthians 1:24). I want to have so much faith that I am fully convinced that what- ever You have promised to me, You will also be able to perform it in my life (Romans 4:21). I know that faith is a gift from You, and I pray that my faith, no matter how it is tested by fire, will glorify You and bring all the praise and honor and glory that belong to You. Thank You that You have given me Your Word whereby my faith can be in- creased. Help me to grow in my understanding of it. May Your Word be so mixed with my faith that it will glorify You (Hebrews 4:2).
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the ev- idence of things not seen. HEBREWS 11:1
Lord, give me direction to know how to pray in every situation and for every concern. Make me bold to ask En- able me to ask according to Your will. Give me faith to be- lieve that impossible things can happen when I pray. Forgive me when I have any doubt about Your ability to answer. I confess all doubt in me as sin and ask You to cleanse me of it. Replace doubt with strong faith that all things are possible because I trust in You.
If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. MARK 9:23
I worship You, Almighty God, and give You all the glory that is due Your name. I praise You, Lord of heaven and earth, and thank You that with You all things are possible. The things that are impossible with men are possible with You (Luke 18:27). Thank You that You give faith as a gift to those who ask. Because of You, I don’t have to live in doubt. I ask You to increase my faith to believe for bigger and greater things. Help me to always ask in faith, with no doubting. May I never be like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind because I have doubt (James 1:6-8).
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more pre- cious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revela- tion of Jesus Christ. 1 PETER 1:6-7
