MRS. SHARON ELAINE KEYS
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sharon Elaine Keys, who passed away November 15, 2017, will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, 2 p. m. at New St. Matthew M. B, Church, 1006 S. 50th St., Tampa, FL 33619, Rev. Alec Hall, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Jerusalem Church Cemetery, Marianna, FL.
Mrs. Sharon Keys was born August 12, 1951, in Marianna, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Edna Mae Keyes and Jesse Keyes.
Sharon graduated from Jack- son County Training School. She worked for Sulphur Springs Ele- mentary School for 18 years be- fore she retired. She worked for the Boys & Girls Club for many years. Sharon really enjoyed working with children. She was a very active member of New St. Matthew M. B. Church in Tampa, FL for many years, where served as a faithful usher and a choir member.
She leaves to mourn: chil- dren, Leonard Borders, Christo- pher Borders, Sr., Clinton Borders, III, and Gwendolyn Jones; mother: Edna Mae Keyes; father: Jesse Keys; son-in-law, Johnathan Thompson, Sr.; sister, Pellie Mae Wilson; step-brothers, Hardy McNeally and Willie Mc- Neally; grandchildren, Christo- pher Borders Jr., Cylenthia Borders, Andre Anderson, Jah’morie Thompson, Emonie Thompson, Ty’reke Thompson, Shawn Walker, Jahnsay Grant, Johndries Grant; aunts: Ynonne Stevens and Christell White; uncle: Willie Stevens; 7 step- grandchildren; 2 great-grandchil- dren; 4 step-great-grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 1 niece; special friend, Clinton Borders, Jr.; and a host of cousins and friends.

MRS. MARY ALICE DORSETT
Mrs. Mary Alice Dorsett of Tampa passed away Tuesday, No- vember 14, 2017 in Atlanta, Geor- gia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 25th, at 2 p. m. at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 1207 N. Jefferson Street, with Rev- erend Dr. Brett Snowden, Pastor, officiating; and Apostle James H. Howell, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Dorsett was a native of Dade City, FL and a resident of Tampa for more than 66 years. She completed high school in Lakeland, FL, went to Paine Col- lege in Augusta, GA, and then to the National Trade and Profes- sional School for Women and Girls, in Washington, D. C. Mrs. Dorsett was the owner of an In- come Tax Consulting Service, a Bail Bonds Service, and an Em- ployment Agency. She was a member of Greater Bethel M. B. Church, the founder of Faith Mis- sion in Tampa, and held member- ships in the National Council of Negro Women, Tampa Urban League, and the NAACP.
Mary Alice Dorsett achieved numerous awards and was a self- professed “radical,” who was an untiring worker for the civil, eco- nomic, and political rights of African Americans. After suffer- ing a debilitating illness, Mrs. Dorsett decided to spend most of her time in Atlanta, under the tender loving care of her son, Dwayne. Mrs. Dorsett remained a spirited civil rights, political, and human rights activist, who chal- lenged unfairness and inequity all over the world.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Dorsett and Nannie Mae Johnson.
Mrs. Mary Alice Dorsett leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Dwayne Oswald “Oz” Hill (Audra); daughter, Chaplain (Major, USAF Reserve) Countess Clarke Cooper; granddaughter, Taylor Dorsett Hill; grandson, Thomas Augustus Cooper; god- daughter, Harriett L. Scott; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after
5 p. m. Friday, November 24 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, and the fam- ily will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m.

MR. ATKIN BROWN, SR.
Mr. Atkin Brown, Sr., passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017. A Celebration of Life serv- ice will be conducted Saturday, November 25 at 2 p. m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street with Pastor T. D. Leonard, offici- ating. Interment will be held in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Mr. Atkin Brown was a native of Live Oak, Florida and a resi- dent of Tampa for many years. He was educated in the Public Schools of Suwannee County, Live Oak, Florida. After gradua- tion he enlisted into the United States Army and served faithfully until his Honorable Discharge. Mr. Brown traveled abroad and back to the States where he met and married the love of his life, Louise Jones Brown. To this union five precious children were born.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his loving and devoted wife, Louise Brown; children, Clifford Brown, Sr., Annis Foster, Veron- ica Brown, Atkin Brown, Jr. and Felicia Brown-Vickers; grand- children, Antwan Allen, Sr., Rhonda Brown, Clifford Brown, Jr., Monica Watson, Cedric Brown, Sabrina Brown, Angela Agurs, Anthony Foster and Cameron Vickers; great grand- children, Amari Allen, Antwan Allen, Jr., Khalil Coney, Darius Coney, Amir Coney, Dale Upson, Jr., Diallo Brown, Amare Brown, Bryson Brown, and Mayani Don- aldson; great-great grandchil- dren, Harmony Allen and Amare Allen, Jr.; goddaughter, Yolanda Archie; godson, Marvin Knight; and a host of other sorrowing rel- atives and friends.

MR. KEMAR ODEANE OFFICER
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Kemar O. Officer, who passed away on November 13, 2017, will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 1 p. m. at Forest Hills Church of God of Prophecy, 401 W. Bougainvillea Ave., Tampa, FL. 33612. Pastor Joseph and Jennifer Pearce will officiate. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rudolph Donaldson and uncle, Clive Of- ficer.
Kemar was affectionately known as “Odeane” by his fam- ily and friends. He was born on February 26, 1990 in Kingston, Jamaica to Donald Officer and Antoinette Donaldson. He was baptized at an early age and graduated from Chamberlin High School, and Erwin Techni- cal School. He worked for Loomis as a security officer, and as a med tech mentor.
He is survived by his par- ents, Donald Officer and An- toinette Donaldson; brothers, Romaine Officer and Ricardo Spence; nephew, Romain Offi- cer, II; friend, Rushelle Savage; sister-in-law, Denise Hernan- dez; grandmothers, Margarita St. Ward, and Justina Officer (a. k. a., Mum); cousins; Ian, Delano, Dwayne, Tanisha, Keri- Ann, Teri, Kameka, Kristina; aunts, Diane Officer, Lana Mellers, Curlin Trenchfield, Cynthia Officer, Gloria Officer, Janet Officer, and Jeane Offi- cer; uncles, Leighton Donald- son, Paul Donaldson, Cassius Brown, Michael Barnett, and Gary Officer; grandfather, Al- fred Officer; and a host of 12 nieces, nephews and cousins.

MR. GEORGE GATLIN
Mr. George Gatlin of Tampa, passed away on Sun- day, November 12, 2017. Fu- neral Services will be conducted on Saturday, No- vember 25, 2017 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating.
Mr. George Gatlin was born December 18, 1952 in Tampa, Florida, to Mr. Sinclair Gatlin and Mrs. Hattie M. Johnson Gatlin. He attended Hillsbor- ough County Public Schools and was a graduate of Leto High School, Class of 1970. He was a former employee with the City of Tampa and Coastal Welling and Drilling Company.
George was a loving and kind-hearted brother, father and friend to many. He en- joyed working, fishing, watch- ing TV, cooking barbeque on the grill and hanging out with the fellows in Lincoln Gardens before his health failed. George was a die-heart Wash- ington Redskins fan.
Mr. Gatlin was preceded in death by: his father, Sinclair Gatlin; mother, Hattie M. Johnson Gatlin; and sister, Leslie D. Gatlin.
He leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Dana Gatlin-Daniels (Jarrett) of North Carolina, KeAndra Gatlin of San Antonio, Texas and Ashley Gatlin of Tampa, Florida; eight grandchildren, Jordan Gatlin, Jaylen Daniel, Jayme Daniel, Waylon War- ren, Jr., Ke’Andre Warren, Dana Warren, Aaron Robinson and Corey Williams; three de- voted sisters, Priscilla Terrell, Abra Dale Chambers and Cas- sandra Gatlin House; 2 broth- ers, Leon Gatlin and Melvin Gatlin; one brother-in-law, Daryl House; one sister-in-law, Brenda Gatlin; nieces, Natasha Thompson (Alfonso), Shameka Reddick, Tesra House, Keny- atta Terrell (Eric), Patrice Roberts, Latara House, Lauren Terrell, Latrice Terrell, Erica House (Eric) and Tarsha Gatlin; nephews, Antonio Gatlin (Mindy), Rychard Red- dick, Dennis Reddick Jr., Leon Gatlin, Jr., Tremaine Roberts and Mancelo Gatlin; and a host of cousins and friends.
