Gospel Hip Hop Artist Comfortable With His Life Choices
BY LEON B. CREWS Sentinel Staff Writer
Brother Moore says he became a born again Christian when he was 16-years-old. He’s always had a great love for music, but un- like other young men his age at the time, he never felt comfortable performing club music.
“I actually started free-styling in middle and high school. I wrote my first CD in college, and it was about Black empowerment. Now, I have a degree n Africana Studies.
When I got married and started a family, I began to question the direction I was going professionally, and the message I was sending to my children. That’s when I decided to follow my first love; Gospel music. That was in 2009.”
Brother Moore has just completed the of- ficial release of his first Gospel CD and his ex- pectations are to work harder and keep it going.
“I just completed a concert, and my goal with this project is to provide music that glo- rifies God, edifies the people, and offers a comparable alternative to secular music.
“I spent three months writing the music for my new CD, ‘The Late Bloomers Project.’ It was truly a labor of love.”
Brother Moore said his message is in his

music, and it’s straight and direct.
“Christ is King. When you put your life in
perspective, and give credit where it’s due, you’ll realize from whence all your good for- tune comes. I’m proud to be a messenger for God.”
Brother Moore’s CD is available on hard copy and can be obtained through e-mail, leg- endarysouthent @gmail.com, or by calling (813) 504-8153.
